Mike despite froga and toads can't produce warts, some of tads. Usually some males of toads produce a milky substance from their body and can be really toxic to humans and poison dogs if there was one in there drinking plate that water needs to be throw and clean it

Hi Mike! I’m a 68 year old woman who’s battling addictions, bipolar, abusive relationship, and fractured family relationships. If it weren’t for rehab, friends, some doctors, and God, I’d be a goner. I’ve called the helpline several times and they were great but not as a substitute for professional counseling and medical treatment. I pray especially for younger people to start connecting more personally and not so much online because connection is a lifeline when you’re dying inside. Social media is useful but it’s not a healthy way to engage without interpersonal physical human connection. A computer or phone can’t hold you or sit across a table and exude the healing human spirit of a person. I’m introverted but I know that isolation can be deadly especially when you’re not thinking clearly. What you think of as a Dragon-sized problem can (with personal help) be broken down into lizard sized pieces and return your perspective by framing things in a broader context. My friends and I have saved each other many times through small events strung together over years. I would love to hear your perspective Mike and any others’. Everyone needs encouragement.

As a kindred spirit I agree that personal connection is essential to recovery from childhood developmental trauma. Most of us do know how to self regulate and being able to regulate our nervous system with a gentle energy is so needed until we have the capacity to do it for ourselves and need less co- regulating. For me it was Bonding that was the most elusive connection. I longed to bond with an other soul. I felt empty and see through until learning self love. A difficult journey when people don’t understand ( family especially). I Hear You and Acknowledge your Journey. Thank you for sharing and helping me feel less Alone ❤️🤗

Thank you so much for adding the myth of suicidal people wanting to die - my boyfriend's brother died by suicide and I've been trying to explain this to him but I think he thinks I'm making it up. I super appreciate your candor about depression and the like. Keep up the good work.

Are you kidding. Of course suicidal people want to die. They want their pain to end or they want something to end so they think that's the only way out. Selfish of them for sure. And yes I have experience and I'm also a psychology major.

Back in 1972 I was 14 and was institutionalized in a private mental hospital in San Francisco for 6 weeks. I was on a children's and adolescents war. I saw children, maybe 5 or 6 years old, who had mental illness -- in some, schizophrenia -- who had been there for years and might be there most of their lives. I'm sure they were on high doses of medication. Therapy may have changed over the years, but not children's neuroses or psychoses.

I was diagnosed with autism when I was 13 or so; up until then, my parents struggled to learn exactly _how_ I was so different and not like other kids my age... I've been on medication almost my whole life, though, from the time I had seizures around age 1.5 to 2... Never had any since then, and only needed seizure medication for a short time; however, I did have ADD tendencies, so I've been put on different meds for that over the years. I still take meds to help me focus, as well as anti-anxiety ones... But since I was diagnosed, I've gotten a lot better help to manage my high-functioning autism... 😊 I have a lot of people in my life who are very supportive, including my parents and late paternal grandmother, so I consider myself very blessed... 🥰

When you were talking about sports drinks and recommended drinking milk 🥛 you were spot on. I had an incident where I almost passed out on my way home from somewhere, and only my 14yr old nephew was home. I asked him if he would get me some water or something else to get me back my energy. He brought me a glass of milk 🥛 and I thought, " Oh God, I can't drink this. It's gonna make me sick." Well, not only didn't it make me sick almost instantly, it gave me a huge boost in energy. I told him that I would never doubt him again. He's a very smart young man.

As a person who was placed on medication and sent to a psychiatrist from age 5 to 9!!!! My issues were purely inviromental, mostly a mother who didnt want me, she was cold and uncaring, a father who tried to over compensate. Now an adult suffering severe depression and apathy issues. Be careful saying “When the neighborhood power goes out, your lights will stay on” on myth 15 busted. MANY residential solar arrays are grid tied and without battery back up or other extra equipment (System controller with NFT) your lights will go off when the rest of the neighborhood’s does too, even with solar on your roof. Grid tied solar needs to see the grid to continue to operate so during a power outage the solar array will stop working. Great reason to opt for the battery back up too!! 😉 Awesome lists! Keep it up!!

Lots of people get through a pack of 20 cigarettes a day, costing them about £13. I can live with my coffee expenditure. About Solar with barely as a home backup electrical system: I've been a boater for decades. One story I loved was a couple who had just spent a night fighting a hurricane at anchor, including motoring all night to ease the strain on the anchors, which was kinda draining. In the morning, after brewing throwing a few branches overboard and consuming their first cups of coffee, they got into their dingy and rowed into town: INTO town, which was still a few feet under water. Some days later, the town got power back, the shop owners shoveled as best they could, but the cruisers' life was pretty much undisturbed, except the had to arrange transport to the nearest supermarket to restock their food. Running off of solar-charged batteries for 3 or more days is pretty usual in a cruiser's life. I've been *thinking about installing solar cells and batteries with an industrial-grade AC (125-250v) inverter for the fridge and furnace because we have lost power, mostly during winter storms, for days, though the power company emergency workers, some of whom I know, are great at bringing outages back up with amazing alacrity.

My sweet, wonderful nephew Chris is schizophrenic, and my sister has given up on him and doesn’t even look for him when he goes off his meds, and I know from having had a boss with a schizophrenic wife that schizophrenics go off their meds at spectacularly high rates because the meds keep them “from feeling like themselves,” which is-in fact-what it’s supposed to do. And today is his 32nd birthday. I love you Chris, wherever you are.

I love milk. Something to look into? When I flew first-class, I asked for a glass of milk, the stewardess pointed out that every time one person orders milk in first-class, about 20% of the others will also. She told me this when I asked for a second one, she said this always happens, she saved one for me, otherwise they would have run out.. lol

In the UK, if you die without a Will, relatives can inherit as the next of kin without one, all they need to do, is do the Probate, after proving their relationship and the person's death. However if you are the spouse with a joint account and co ownership of the estate, you can inherit without doing the Probate, but that can cause legal problems, in some cases. The estate only goes to the Crown, either one of two Duchies or the Treasury, if there are no relatives to inherit, but efforts are made to establish that. But a Will does in the end save a lot of problems from occurring. There is a myth in the UK that having no Will, means the Crown takes everything, but that I repeat, only ever occurs after no relatives have been found. In the end whatever country your live in, best to make a Will, plus save for your funeral as well as your retirement.

I'm British and over 60, I worked, I have a state pension due to me, so no need to save, the State did that me, via my taxes. That said I'm good with money anyway. Even when I have loads of it, I rarely splash out, plus what I call a luxury, others might call cheap. I love a bargain, so even my coffee is a bargain. ❤ That thing about coffee and blood pressure, comes from the fact that some people are more sensitive to the caffeine, than others. It's a misinterpretation of their reactions to the caffeine. What really makes you fat is excessive bad fats and high levels of sugar, etc.... basically junk food, folks. Eat occasionally as a treat, not as your main diet. ❤

#16 - I heard that at one time a sports drink company (unnamed) sponsored a run across Death Valley. They set up hydration stations at intervals along the route, and at each station the contestants could choose among a wide range of available liquids, the hope being that they would choose unnamed sports drink and validate their advertising claims. Well, this stunt never got publicized, because after the first stop or two all anyone wanted was water. Just water.

Vapes do have their benefits; I used them to stop smoking 10 years ago. The NHS advice is that vaping is less harmful than smoking but not completely harmless. So unless you're already a smoker don't start vaping. When i went on the vape I figured that it can't be worse than smoking and it certainly smells better, i also started breathing better after about a week. I think that vaping is more regulated in the UK than in the USA though, i imagine that unregulated vape products or mods will be far more dangerous than regulated.

@@alysiareid6659 I've never seen a skinny calf either as a matter of fact, they seen to rapidly grow to cow size. If you've worked with cows you know the average person can't pick out the yearlings from the other cows. Whales are also bulls, cows and calves by designation and some gain in excess of 200-250lbs per day, drinking nothing but milk. that is approximately ten pounds per hour.

About coffee: If you're spending hundreds a month on the stuff, maybe it's time to go for the cheaper option of brewing at home. Use Starbucks as a treat, not a daily drink

Organic food is better regulated in the UK and EU. That said, the best organic food, is what you grow yourself, even if all you have is a kitchen windowsill. Always prep any food properly that isn't pre packaged, that also includes fish and meats, as well as fruit and vegetables. ❤

if someone is suicidal usually they wont tell anybody they just do it, most of the time suicidal people just use the threat of suicide to get attention or someone to listen

When I was a teemager, I was deeply depressed and talked about suicide. My father, who was the cause of my depression, said people who talk about suicide don't do it. They're just looking for attention. ( Well, why not just give them attention? That sounds cheaply enough.) 😮My father talked about commuting suicide for months and even circled the date on the calendar, March 3rd, and then he did it on that day. So much for that.
