I’m originally from the western side of the Green Mountains in Vermont but, before I moved to North Carolina 11 years ago I lived in the northeastern part of the Adirondack Park in NY. We called them Walleye or “Eyes”

My hat goes off to you boys, for 50 years since I was 12 we walked that sponge bog through thick hardhacks to fish up to the Duck Pond. You earn the trout you catch lol I would always say never again, chewed to death by blackflies, mosquitoes horse and moose flys, falling in beaver ditches and holes lol then do it all over again the next weekend. Keep given-er boys, we live for this stuff!

The continental divide is teaching you so much, preparing your muscles and body for tales to your family. This video is your proof for how tough and how cool grandpa really is. This gives your children a great example. I’m interested in if your canoe builder will discuss repairing your canoes. Trouble with both, a leak in one and a broken seat in the other doesn’t speak well for the builder. Hmmm? You guys are working them pretty hard. Well done, men. Texas

Ted: Your discussion of the early native peoples, and the voyageurs...travelling like this without any modern conveniences or technology. I've thought that a lot. REALLY tough as nails people. Enjoy your work immensely. I can't imagine doing the hard work of all this portaging AND...setting up cameras, flipping batteries, and maintaining a normal demeanor....amazing. The natives didn't have to film themselves.

Hi, Baird Brothers, we both are her from Kanaltal! That fishing suit could be a nightmare if pee is incipient. Last news from FVG: we think Walleye, known as Zander in Europe, is a family freshwater fish Percidae. It belongs to the same family of the Perch, it’s not a Pike, so Pickerel is a small Walleye. When Jim and Ted start for a new hike in the wilderness it is always a nice adventure to see. Thank you very much. Bye Ermes Ivo and Wanda
