Good idea to stop while you have light. This is a good time to organize a bit, get a good smoldering fire to ward off “squeeters” and get fish done. Gonna enjoy seeing how you fare paddling up a swollen river. Looked like your fillet knife was good and sharp. Smart to bring two canoes. I guess we’ll see if it works out to be harder. Everyone always carries more stuff when they canoe than when they hike. This may turn out more of a problem than you want. Texas

OMG. You guys are brave to be in prime Sasquatch country. I have trouble going into the woods and seeing red squirrels.
