This is why almost all the major companies will use the NACS standard...non issue. If you currently have the CCS, then you'll use the non-Tesla chargers for now. Non issue, since 90% of charging is at home.

I can see why internal combustion cars need room for the engine and others in the space between the front bumper to the interior of the car. This is not the case for EVs. Therefore, other than air dynamic or, maybe, lack of imagination, I don't understand why almost all EVs still have the same design/style of the IC cars. They could have shortened or completely eliminated that part of the car to give the interior of the car more room. The exceptions are the VW ID buzz, x-Bus, Canoo, and Arrival. The last two are struggling to get the funding they need to go into production. I hope they will eventually succeed.

@@qtheband751 until you need to replace that giant battery :) I'm not against EV, I firmly believe it's the future, but as of now the choice is quite limit and price is high and not much common part. 10 more years and EV will become much more mainstream.

What is not being talked about is our power grid. Many areas already have brown outs during the summer months. What's going happen when millions of EVs are plugged in at night to charge and people can't sleep because their AC is not working? I'll tell you what's going to happen. Many charging stations and EV vehicles are going to give up the ghost due too lead poisoning.

@@thecarspaceYT In America, it is a problem. The grid isn't sized to handle everyone charging cars at night. Additionally, the grid design is for transformers to cool down at night when demand is less. If demand is high at night, the usage factor is going to wear down transformers. The grid is a nightmare that the government won't admit to because of their irrational push for quick electric conversion.

260 miles in good condition is not enough and the reason people in general are not buying ev. only those who live in big cities and rarely go far . but if you compare it to ICE car they are not worth the price and you wont save any money even if you charge at home because the high price means it will take you7 years to get your money back. Plus electric cars will do absolutly nothing to save the planet. Plus most country dont have the proper electric grid. every body is waiting for 400 milles battery at a decent price.
