I am currently on book 7 of his History of the Church. It is much more accessible than I thought it would be when I first started. I am loving it! Mike Aquila and Jim Papandrea have been a HUGE help in my interest and study of this time period!

His descriptions of the martyrs... wow something else. Check out the audiobooks. Incredible. Imagine having your feet wrapped in linen...then soaked in oil...then lit on fire until it burns to the bone. All because you wouldn't renounce Christ and give sacrifice to pagan gods. That was in Palistine.

I see Eusebius a bit differently. When reading church history, it is crucial to exercise discernment, which is severely lacking amongst most Christians. I go over some of his lies on my channel, and the possibility why he lied.
