I’m a 70+ yo white man who has fought against racism since I was about 13. A black youth of 17 was beaten and lynched. I was 9 at the time. I knew, even at the age of 9 what happened was wrong. It took me time to figure out what to do. I never knew that 17 year old’s name, but I vowed that as long as I was alive, his death would not be in vain. I cried when MLK was murdered. I have been nose to nose with police to keep his hands off a black man. I have protested against cops killing black men. I am for reparations. I hope and pray that you or anyone will not hate every white person because of the past. There are many things white folks do that make me want to hate white folks. I believe in God and He says not to hate. That is what I try to do. I have been ashamed of being white. I have been told that I’m prejudiced against whites. At one time, when I was young and dumb, I thought that once all the racist people I was exposed to were dead, that racism would end. I did not realize that hating someone because of the color of their skin was TAUGHT in the home and schools. @@vkohnson818 every man will be judged by his works alone. if you spread hate, you will recieve that as your reward, in the lake of fire. you can't weaponize God against his own people because the same revenge that you seek is at the right hand of HIS people. you can continue to spread all that hate if you like but God is love, the whole law hangs on that one word and his love is not exclusive to you or any other because we are all God's children and he looks beyond our sin and sees his creation and his amazing grace is the only way that we will ever be saved. you can't take one scripture in the bible and justify revenge, "vengeance is mine thus saith the lord" you're suppose to win people to God showing his grace and mercy, not show people a big mean God who only cares about hurting his own people. GOD IS LOVE.
