We had a nuclear cloud from above ground testing in the USSR in 1960. I lived in Alaska. My mom had a garden, and the vegetables grew huge. And they actually tasted great. We paid for it in the long run. But no one knew at the time.

I love facts. My head is filled with inconsequential information. For example, I remember (yeah, I'm old. 😉) that Paul McCartney played bass guitar on James Taylor's song "Carolina in my Mind" in 1968. I'm foggy on what I had for breakfast, however. 🙂 Keep up the great work Mike. 👍

Hi there! I have 3 comments: 1. I know 2 people who have stolen traffic cones. The first was when I was in college: the Frat boys from our brother fraternity would semi regularly swipe them to adorn the frat house, just because they could. The second was a neighbor who wanted to save the parking space in front of his house and thought this was a good way to do it. 🙄 2. My mom, who was born in 1923, wore glass contact lenses. 3. My grandma wore bloomers until the day that she died, and yes, she called them that.

While GOD obviously didn't show up to the trial, she still won. As he mentioned someone had already transferred ownership of at least some property to GOD. One could argue that most churches are "owned by GOD" as that is how they are portrayed by those who claim to represent him. The woman could arguable ask the court to for the forfeiture of these properties to pay her settlement.

My first contacts where glass as well. When I went to get them in 93 the optometrist told me to get ready, take a deep breath and grab the arm rest. He explained that until my eye got used to them, it will think that I have something in my eye. He then plopped one in with a tiny plunger, it just covered my iris. OH, my goodness, it freakin hurt! When I saw soft plastic lenses for the first time, I was terrified of the prospect since it covered my entire eye. But it was no sweat. I had to wait a bit on soft lenses as in the early to mid 90's they didnt have sufficient toric lenses for me to use in soft plastic.

One thing I remembered was that sometimes when I blinked my eye lids would catch the edge of the lense and feel stuck for a split second. Also, they didnt slide all that often.

The hum must be a real sound for it to be recorded If you have ver blown across the top of a bottle, you know the type of thing i think is producing it Some sort of tube, maybe a chimney or air duct, the latter could explain why it's moore likely to be heard indoors, especially in the US with the forced air systems.

So the Los Angeles Sherriff's department has an equestrian (horse) unit and they use these horses like drug-sniffing dogs due to the fact that hoses have almost 10 times the ability dogs do.... That means if a dog can smell drugs on you from 10 feet away then a horse will know what's in your pockets from 100 FEET AWAY!!!!

The “HUM” to me, reminds me of oddities around power lines (the major tower mounted ones) crossed with a bit of an internal combustion engine running (probably diesel). I have Tinnitus. I hear a 60 cycle scream (tube TV’s and monitors turned on with no volume) A CRT tube on, magnifies the noise in my ears. I also hear harmonics , even frequencies above normal hearing, I can tell that they are there. I have been able to hear subliminals in store background music. (A lot of stores have this, they are allowed to say, no smoking, do not shoplift, stuff like that.). Even lower than 30 hertz I can tell it’s there. I turned that recording all the way up. No harmonics. Perhaps that’s what sets some people on edge…

#15 How to Catch a Unicorn - Mike.. Unicorns are even mentioned in the Bible written 2000 years ago. Unicorns in history are not thought to be the fantasy creature of a magical horse with one horn but a real animal such as a rhinoceros and also a narwhal which is a whale with one horn. The Greek physician Ctesias is credited with creating the unicorn myth in the 4th century B.C.

You wouldn't see the candle that far. Earth has curvature
@K162KingPin3 күн бұрын
What if the candle was in space rather than on the surface of Earth. Besides. He forgot the inverse square law. The candle isn't 1/2 as bright at twice the distance. It's 1/4 as bright. So if the candle is a brightness of 1 at 30 miles. Then it is 1/10,000 that bright at only 3,000 miles. Not 30,000. I still wonder how he even multiplied 30 x 10,000 and got 30,000 instead of 300,000. His math is just all kinds of wrong.
