He was trying to trick Harvey into believing that it was Gordan and his own scheming that put him where he was, not the Joker's actions. Such a phenomenal performance by Heath ledger, he will be missed very dearly. He brought an air of originality to his character and brought it to life in his own unique way, he put his heart and soul into this role he went all out. But sadly it partly cost him his life, and he needed medication and accidentally overdosed. I wish he didn't overdose the medication. He could've gotten some serious help like therapy, or psychiatry, or medical help to check on his physical and mental condition. And he didn't live to see his excellent work in a masterpiece of a movie. Such a shame he died. R.I.P Heath Ledger, great actor, wonderful soul, and The Joker.
