"Never hate your enemies.. it affects your judgement" - Godfather III Probably the most underrated of them all.
@Allzumenschliches44
@Allzumenschliches44 10 жыл бұрын
That quote doesn't make much sense. Michael Corleone (the true Michael from the first films) was absolutely full of hate towards his enemies. That scene where he's in the car with Sollozzo and the cop for example. You can see the pure hate and disgust in his face.
@rahulmd1

Allzumenschliches44 A few counter-arguments to that: 1. One of the big differences I found between Godfather 1 and the book was regarding Michael's attitude towards McCluskey and Solozzo. In the book, Michael does take the punch from McCluskey personally, and there is a conversation between Hagen and him on this. But in the movie, Michael clearly insists to Sonny that "It's strictly business". Even in the car and in the restaurant, Michael is more nervous about what is happening. 2. The instance is how Michael enters into the family business - he doesn't do it out of choice, but to save his family. He's green, and hasn't had the benefit of the education he will receive from his father later. An older, wiser Michael is the one making the comment - so I don't think it goes against character. Even in Godfather 2, you can see he objectively assesses each foe and each situation - even Fredo. 3. Solozzo was trying to kill his father - I think that gives enough reason to hate. But then he won't do that to anyone else since it's not personal.

I dont even know his fortune.. i dont care he is a celebrity i would never reach him, u are crazy but actually funny to even take the time to anger urself over this. oh and i think you should stop generalising people, especially beautiful girls. You think every beautiful girl is superficial and gold digger, first of all thanks for thinking am pretty. Secondly you are so fucking wrong . And i tell you why if you tell me ur gender.

then you're probably a woman with little luck of appearance and beauty, otherwise you wouldn't be trolling on the internet - picking on randoms thinking you know everything about strangers based on comments and pictures. You probably have some issues with yourself. I recommend you to work with your problem rather than trolling on youtube. I am not the only person you randomly pick on, i can see other people are bothered by your behaviour. And as of my shallowness - pls you dont know shit about me, stop pretending to be someone and start getting your shit together. you envious little psychophat.

Well, Part 3 was Ok at best, but Al's acting deserves all the goodies. The way he revised the character after all these years and add what the years whould have added to Michael. I watched it for the first time last week, and I remember pausing every now and then and thinking, wow this IS Michael from the first two parts, but an old, regretful, almost broken version. It takes a great actor to send this feeling to the audience.
