25 Min Morning Yoga For Healthy Body & Mind | Full Body Stress Relief Yoga Stretch (All Levels)

Start your day with morning yoga for a healthy body and mind. During this morning yoga sequence, we'll be doing lots of lion breath to help relieve tension and stress. Lion’s breath helps to stretch out our facial muscles, relaxing tense muscles and improving blood flow to all the muscles and tissues of the body. It’s a powerful and energizing breathing exercise (Pranayama) that helps to calm the mind and body. We will stretch out all areas of the body with hamstring stretching exercises, psoas stretches in low lunge, the hip flexors and side body, as well as incorporating twists and neck stretches to relieve excess tension and aches from all the muscles in the entire body.
This yoga class was shot at the beautiful Mangosteen Ayurveda and wellness resort in Phuket Thailand @Mangosteen-Phuket (mangosteen-ayu...)

Hello friends, I've been very excited to share this yoga sequence as it's a little different, plus it's shot at the most beautiful retreat in Thailand. It's a gentle enough sequence to do any time of the day. I put it down as a morning class as it may be quite invigorating so perhaps not best to do right before sleep. We will be stretching out the entire body, and experiencing the benefits of the stress-relieving breathing technique (pranayama) 'Lions Breath'. You may feel silly doing it, but enjoy, the benefits are worth it. Let me know your thoughts after you've given the class a go, and if you enjoyed it then please do share 😉 Sending love, Candace

040224 More intense than I was expecting for a morning flow, I was a bit morning stiff after an entire day seated yesterday and a very long night's sleep. But in the end, as always, exactly what I needed to get me mobile, energised and feeling good for the day. The sights & sounds of Phuket an added bonus. Thank you. Namaste.
