11:26 Its a fighting game comeback mechanic, where if you're health is super low you unlock a (usually one time use) powerful attack for a chance to turn the fight around. For this game it looks like it depends on the # of stock bars on top of your health bar, the lower the stocks the more powerful attacks you unlock or maybe replace.

From what I can see, bringing your enemy’s health bar all the way to 0 takes away a single gikon bar without a special attack (soul break), but if you capitalize on the now or never moment and activate your special attack, you can take out multiple lives (soul destruction). Also you can see, or more so hear, in the second to last fight, Ichigo’s reverse gauge gives him the partial mask where White takes him over!!

The camera view is Storm 4, the side step is a little bit of Tekken, and there is some slight Xenoverse movement too. You see all of this in the first match. When Yoruichi was moving, I can see Storm, Tekken, and Xenoverse movement here and there.

The kikon move looks like it’s different based on transformation.

Hard to say exactly what sublimation is but when they get sublimation they take out one extra stock when they use kikon move. Maybe it gives them a different kikon move too. They get sublimation by filling the awakening meter again after awakening Spirit drive is the super move the hakuteiken and the stabby finisher ichigo does. It looks like it insta kills and they get it by filling the awakening bar a third time after sublimation. Still confusing mechanics we need a slow explanation of everything.

Damn, even in the studios, Uryu KEEPS beefing with Ichigo ;( Also, as for your question about the two different Kikon Moves, I think Ichigo Bankai's thrust move and Byakuya's Shukei are triggered only when they're moving to take the last Konpakus, automatically replacing the usual Kikon Move for a flashier, deciding one. If we compare it to an Arc System Works game, it seems to be a mix of Instant Kill ultimates and Dramatic Finishes. As for why Yoruichi didn't have a different Kikon Move against Byakuya...You may be right and it's because she was in her Sublimation mode. Maybe when you have that on, you can do Kikon Moves at will, but they're much more telegraphed (she was charging up this red aura before attacking and Kubo used the red attack's knockback to set it up). Normally, you'd have to get your opponent down to red HP and then hit them with a red attack, which sets them up for a Now or Never into Kikon Move or deplete the HP completely, which gives your a Kikon Move automatically.

I actually wish that when Byakuya activates Senkei, both of the character are surrounded by his wall of blades, and he can summon blades down to cut his opponent (have certain buttons summon more blades for a heavy attack and less blades for a weaker but faster attack) and for the Senkei to have a limited number of blades to use (heavy attacks and weak attacks in the senkei deplete the number faster and slower), and when they're all used up it disappears.

game looks phenomenal, my only thing is that if they're going to have stylistic text pop-up mid-battle, I hope they add an option to reduce the size of the HUD elements that stay on. The screen has A LOT going on, but otherwise this game carries the style Bleach comes swinging with every single time
