Holy _Heisenberg,_ those last few!! I just gotta ask... _why???_ Why make a _toy_ that extremely expensive if it's for display and not meant to be played with? It makes no logical sense whatsoever... (shrug) The first few things listed the average person could afford if they saved up enough money and had a well-paying job like a doctor/specialist... It wouldn't take them too long to save for those things, either. But the things made of gold and precious gemstones, or produced by some glamorous designer or brand? Um, no thanks; they'd never even be used... I think the most useless expensive thing on this list has to be that soccer ball; if you can't use it in a game, then what's the point of having it? Sure, it's pretty to look at, as with the other super costly things on this list, but that's about it... That's kind of a pet peeve of mine; why make something so extravagant and valuable that you can't even use it without the risk of it getting damaged? I swear on Heisenberg's principle, as I just said, it makes no sense at all... Most expensive I spent on myself in a while was $230 on a full auto bb replica of the m3a1 Grease Gun....Worth it though! Some airsoft weapons are insane, evike has a replica minigun for over 3k. Entertainment Earth had a limited run of 1500 copies of a 3 foot long model of the original star ship enterprise, signed by both Shatner and Nimoy.

Don't want one. The old toys that are crazy expensive are interesting. The diamond / gold stuff not so much. I had a Chatty Cathy doll one christmas. Still pristine in box supposedly about $175-300. Mine might be - if I still had it - worth about $10. Maybe. I hated that doll. Why my parents thought...who knows.
