That's cool. As a railfan you'll enjoy it. You need to be mobile, though, in order to be able to visit the different districts and find the trains at all those nice locations you see in the videos. It is not unusual that while the south end of the yard is busy you hang around on the north end when nothing goes on there. But I'm sure you'll like it.

+seiscat1 Haha, but deer life near a busy railroad line is dangerous. I often see animals crossing tracks and I'm concerned they might get injured or killed by a train.
