Downtown's "underground" is a system of tunnels 20 feet below Houston's Downtown streets and more than six miles long. Starting in the 1930s as a tunnel between two movie theaters, today Downtown's subterranean network connects 95 city blocks and has weekday workday food, shops and services.

As all 8 yr olds in Georgia know, Gen Sherman burned a big boy path from a corner, through Atlanta, down to Savannah. As all 12 yr olds know he found lovely cocktails to cool his brow, and women willing to convince him why he should spare the town. What no one knows is that Gen Sherman's direct descendent was born, raised and still lives...in Atlanta. OK, so he knows, his wife know, his sister knows....and that's about it.🙀😹😼And his cats Abe, Lincoln, Carter (who has liver complaints) and Tallulah Bankhead who was confused about gender for a while but they finally figured themself out.🐊🐊
