I almost didn’t watch this because I lost my husband two plus years ago. He was retired but I was not so we didn’t have to navigate the joint retirement challenges. You made excellent points and I hope your viewers take them to heart. Sharing retirement with your spouse or significant other is a huge privilege!

I realize today's video and suggestions were targeted to both people in the relationship but I have to say .......it takes two to make a relationship successful. Unfortunately, I don't know if too many situations where BOTH are actively working on the relationship. Which might explain the increase in gray divorce - we're tired of one sided relationships.

You bring up a good point. We hope that a video like this might be a great starting point for a couple to watch. Take some notes, and work on one or two of these tips at a time. take it slow and be kind to each other.

You guys are hilarious! Especially when you let us see your ‘baby disagreements.’ Totally relateable. PS my hubby rarely makes the bed!

So ya'll make a lot of excellent points in this video that I thought were awesome. With that being said I am going to just touch on a few things I saw watching this. First of all I am just curious if either of you go back and watch it. I've watched a few so far and it stands out. It's hard to say it without just saying it as I love watching and listening. So with that being said some things should be said off camera, like the soap on the floor in the shower, and her kissing you before she brushes her teeth. In all honesty just be glad she kisses you. Also Jody giving the example of what her daughter and boyfriend does everyone should embrace as another way of working on that type conversation. Making the point that this is about marriage's after she makes the point about how they handle the conversation I get but we all know that and she was just trying to give another option that works for this couple. I am not at all trying to criticize as I am far from perfect. It's just an observation on my part and my opinion. Not trying to be disrespectful. On another note I love playing cards, but no one in my family does. As far as golf, well I do not play often as I remember the first time I went play. I swung, looking and looking how far I hit the ball, then my friend tapped me on the shoulder and said "Look Down at the Tee". I never hit it. It's like bowling I am lousy at it but it's all about the time spent with people you want to be with. Now on a brighter note I now know both your names and not just Ruby's. Great Video!

Hey there! Thanks a million for watching our video. We're stoked that you found our points in the video awesome. And hey, we totally get it - some things are better left off-camera, like the soap on the shower floor, right? 😂 We appreciate your support and hope to keep making content you enjoy. Stay tuned for more!

Our pleasure! We work hard at our marriage and don't always get it right. But we keep at it and in the end it helps to have a positive attitude and a dose of humor to get through the day.
