@@MissWobbles I've taken 1 tab before and I wasn't even close to hallucinating, hell I've taken 2 tabs of stronger gel tabs and while you have "reality breakdown" in visuals to some degree, I didn't hallucinate with that dosing either. If you've got a high tolerance, you might need to take 2 or more tabs. Not all LSD is created equal and some tabs are very potent and others not so much. That being said, driving around like that is stupid and selfish. I have no sympathy for what happened because she repeatedly made unwise decisions.
@Social241ll9 ай бұрын
I love LSD and have a very high tolerance to any drug or chemical so 1 tab doesn't even tickle my equilibrium. 5 is okay but I usually dose at least a strip(10 tabs) if not more to get proper visuals and mind altering thoughts. I would NEVER drive a vehicle while dosed. "Tried" driving to corner store once and had a complete breakdown. Which almost certainly ruined my trip. I immediately returned home and never drove dosed again. I however have been smoking weed my entire life almost and smoke everywhere I go. Especially while driving. I whole heartedly hate being sober. Why cant we not be sober?? I've been in 1 fender bender , my entire life, after getting off work 1 night completely sober. I know people say "fake story" about a lot of this, but Story 1 just . . . either the person is really stupid or trying to make up a story that's suspenseful and where EVERYTHING goes wrong. So, she has PTSD from other incidents, has a fear of strangers, lives in a known high-crime area BUT says "I ignored these texts thinking foolishly that I'd never be a victim . . ." I mean . . . REALLY??? Is that just denial as a defense mechanism? And even if I HADN'T been involved in an incident WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU handicap yourself by wearing EARBUDS in a HIGH CRIME AREA not long after you almost got attacked? I mean I HOPE it's fake, because otherwise, that person must have been born with no adequate survival instincts. Also, maybe call the cops everytime this happens? I know it's a high crime area and they might be corrupt but alerting them to this sort of a thing would be great so they can text other people (who I would HOPE wouldn't think they were too smart and just ignore it) so they can be aware of the danger.

The employees, my bosses and me always suspected that he had a mental illness, and one day his mother confirmed it to us, but we treated him with a lot of respect because he was very serious guy and, honestly, we were a little bit afraid that he got angry if we disagreed with him. However, I found it funny when I served other clients at the same time as him and, when they observed his behavior, opened their eyes, looked at me as if they wanted to ask me with their look what is happening. And I, just for fun, looked back at them as if there was nothing strange going on and continued writing and doing my work.

I’m with u I really don’t understand how so many people never have anything for defense. If you’re in America and live in one of the states that’s actually free and upholds the constitution there’s no reason not to carry a gun since they’re very easy to get in some states. If u live in an unamerican state like I do and it’s almost impossible to get a CC permit then u should at least carry a knife or something for protection. In my state not only is it almost impossible to get a gun but most knives and almost anything u can carry for self defense is illegal but cops usually don’t bother u too much with a knife they might just take it and I’m a young guy so I’d imagine if a woman gets caught with a knife and says it’s for self defense I highly doubt she’d get in trouble or that the cop would even take it away. In so many scenarios having a weapon or some kind of self defense could save your life even having a dog and not even a really big or intimidating dog so like u said I really don’t understand y so many people especially women don’t carry anything to protect themselves. I always have at least 2-3 things on me usually knives but anything I can use to kill or severely disable a threat if I have to and I’m a young guy that most likely wouldn’t be targeted, I even keep a big combat knife under my pillow. Call it paranoid if u want but it’s not like I’m expecting something to happen it’s just that in the unlikely event anything does happen I don’t wanna be the person saying I wish I was more prepared.

I hate the victim blaming. Especially when a person has crippling anxiety. I in fact did carry a knife to defend myself and had the displeasure of use it, once. The aftermath was traumatic. The mental images that plagued me ever since is horrific. So although everyone is entitled to their opinion please keep in mind that the person tried to be prepared, but trouble finds everyone at some point in time.
@CocoWantsACracker9 ай бұрын
In all fairness, pepper spray is useless against someone who is under heavy influence of alcohol or drugs or having a mental episode, plus it will probably drift into your own eyes too when you use it. If you are not in a frenzy, you probably suffer the effects worse than your intended target. If you take out a knife, you must be prepared to use it and to get cut yourself, as that happens when you involve a knife in a fight (rule number one: be aware you will get cut even if you are the one holding the knife). And for every weapon you bring you need to keep in mind that unless you are willing to use it at the first opportunity, it can be taken away from you and used against you. I think the only guaranteed effective weapons are ranged ones like guns, which need to be used with sufficient precision (knee caps and such). Most people won't be able to pull this off. Based on what I gathered from people's stories and my self-defense training, the best things to rely on are situational awareness to prevent encounters and going for the eyes with all your might during an encounter. Nut kick? Turns out adrenalin-fueled guys don't even respond to that! But putting your thumbs in their eyes and pushing with all your might will trigger a protective reflex they should be unable to restrain eventually. Of course, even for that there are countermeasures, so there is no way to remain perfectly safe. That's the risk of being alive, I guess 😞

It's "should HAVE"...not "should of". With grammar like that, I think you should take an English and/or Creative Writing course or two before submitting anything.

@@th-sd6niYikes, based off just one comment? You're being hysterical. They can just use things like grammily. Don't be so harsh

10:35 this women is so frustrating. Why go home? Not only did you show then the building you were in, but then proceeded to show them the floor and then the apartment. This is just crazy me. Call the cops or knock on someone else door and ask for help.

The first story really freaks me out as someone who is going to college in a few months. Luckily I'm conventionally unattractive so things like this will most likely happen very little if at all to me but this really makes me feel for all the conventionally attractive women who go through this stuff almost daily. The world is a sick perverted place :(

The world is full of strangers, and every encounter carries the potential for the unknown. These true creepy stories of random encounters remind us of the eerie and unsettling moments that can arise from the most ordinary of interactions.

What's frustrating about the first story is that even after the narrator spends a significant time describing how dangerous the city was, she still didn't adapt to living in a city like that. Why would you get a dog if you wanted to limit how much time spent outside? There's no guarantee your dog will protect you; some will, and I've seen videos where some dogs just take off. By getting a dog you're now in a position where you'll be having to go out much more frequently given the needs of the dog. And even after the extremely close call the first time, she didn't bother to buy some kind of self defense weapon. There are non-lethal guns (Byrma), pepper spray (they've been making a gel form for years now to be used indoors and negate wind blowback), knives, etc. Knowing physical self defense is a lot more daunting than a form of ranges protection in the heat of the moment. She wasn't aware of her surroundings; you should NEVER wear earbuds like that because it makes you appear like an easy target and if you can't hear and are distracted by music or whatever, you *are* an easy target. I lived in a sketchy apartment in a not great city. I didn't go out after dark. I would park and go straight from my car to my apartment. At night the blinds would all be closed and the curtains drawn. My keys would always be in my hands at the ready when I'd be going from my car to my apartment and vice versa. I worked 2 jobs so in between jobs during the day was when I tossed my trash. The one night I made the mistake to go out to my car I was chased to my door by a man who was screaming and banging on my building door to be let in. If you're living in a disadvantaged city like that, you can't live life like you're living in some low crime Midwestern suburb.
