Very good advices... however let's not forget that life is about happiness not saving. Don't turn your life around money. I do hate wasting money but I can't go on cutting back on groceries for the sake of "saving". Consumming a diversified diet is what your body needs in order to get the vitamins, nutrients etc... I'd die if I had to eat the same breakfast every single day...... Saving feels good... but let's not forget that your bank account does not follow you when you die.
@AmandaRoundtheGlobe7 жыл бұрын
Totally agree! I actually made a video about this, called Why I Quit Budget Travel. I decided that experiences are 100% worth the money I spend on them, but I do think that with money, it's important to really prioritize what you want to spend on :) For example, eating out is not important to me, but travel is, so I choose to spend money on travel but not eating out.

Stunning beauté the point of saving if to save for something you will enjoy more. Like owning a home, travelling etc. Rather than on unnecessary things you won't even remember you bought.
@Peoplehatethetruth7 жыл бұрын
Stunning beauté if eating out or eating a variety if foods is what you enjoy then cut out other stuff you don't need to be able to do it. These are ways you can pick which ones will work for you to save, you don't have to do all. Also, eating simple healthy meals help your body to thrive. Try it and you will see such a change in your body by eating simple whole foods. You truly don't need variety for your body to thrive, your body understands the nutrients not the variety. Once you are eating balanced meals, even if it is the same everyday it's not like your body would stop absorbing those nutrients. It's our tastebuds that make us want variety not our body make up. But I totally agree I like to switch it up. But stuff like oatmeal and smoothies you can eat it everyday and it will never taste like you are eating the same thing if you make it with different ingredients/toppings/flavours everyday

As a nutrition expert I can tell you variety is key when it comes to eating. It is one of the "laws of good eating". Never skip that one!. There are so many kinds of foods out there and we keep eating the same 4 grains , tomato, etc...

I found that I save Money by Cutting Brillo Pads in to Quarters I cut them up in one go and put them back in their tub as to use a whole pad is wasteful as they go rusty quick once wet, And of course they last four times longer of course, And I use my teeth flosses more than once and I sterilise them at the end of each week with a Milton sterilising tablet that to I cut into quarters as it is a small tub I put them in ,I cut out Sky and use free-sat, I put water and tee Tree oil in a spray bottle for a antibacterial cleaning spray for the Kitchen so much cheaper and you only use a few drops.also use tee tree oil one/ two drops in water as a mouth wash stopped my gums bleeding spit it out of course do not swallow
@christinedavis58137 жыл бұрын
Forgot to say I cut my tooth paste tube in half and slip them back in to each half so the toothpaste that is left stays in the tube and you just pull it apart and stick your brush in when they have run out as I found they lasted a week or so longer , And put less on your brush as they make the hole bigger in the tube to get you to use more than you really need

Hi Amanda, i wanna cut out on skincare products but i have eczema-prone skin & rosacea; hence i need to use tons of gentle & moisturizing skincare products. And they all add up to quite a huge amount of money because i mostly choose products that are recommended by dermatologists & they are way pricier than usual stuffs at drugstore. Do you have any suggestions for this?

Cheryl Ferry I have really curly frizzy coarse thick black hair. That being said best hair product I have ever found is once or twice per week I put coconut oil, olive oil and mayo on my hair, wrap it in a scarf and sleep. Next morning I just need to shampoo it, no conditioner no hair products needed. This leaves my hair friz free even on rainy days

Hey, do you happen to have any suggestions on how to cut down on costs of transportation? Due to the fact that I have a visual impairment I am not able to drive and I live in Los Angeles so that's not a good combination LOL at this point I am forced to take Uber as my only viable option to get safely around town. I am trying to find another way that I can approach getting rides that would be less expensive because Uber is expensive and the price is slowly increasing their adding more and more fees and it's really not good for a daily basis. I am alarmed by the amount of money that I have been having to spend on Hoover but I am not able to drive or take buses so I'm really having a difficult time thinking of other ways to approach this

Make EVERYTHING! Also...cut out all the useless shit that people think they need--- Dryer sheets, face lotions, expensive shampoo and conditioner, soaps, all subscriptions, zip lock bags, car air fresheners, makeup, fabric softener, and all the stupid gadgets and BS that you think you need. Like soap- You only need one kind of soap (Castille) and it will be your dish soap, hand soap, you can clean with it, and it will be your body wash and shampoo

Cycling can be a life changer, both from an economic stand point and from exercise and respiratory health. I live in the UK which by any standard is a densely populated country. I am fortunate in living in a small community within an hour of two National Parks. I could quite easily get rid of my car and live out my days getting around on the bike. I am 67 years old and I haven't turned the key to go shopping in the last seven years. Even old age will not be a problem because of the advances in electric bikes. You will still turn the pedals but you'll get just enough mechanical assistance. It is a Win Win outlook.
