@@ScottsSpeedShop What you could do is what the Rat Rod guys do. I'm no expert, but they remove the excess material then seal the rusted patina in with poly or some clear coat or something - I dunno some KZbin channel will show you how it's done better than I ever could lol. That patina has taken the best part of a hundred years to age like that. Pay homage to it. Imagine it all working, the blade and tracks all shiny from work, the seat polished wood but the body kept more or less as it is. Could be a good thing.

Scott you might want to check out IH Red Power magazine forum that has a website to try & find parts or a engine for that 36 IH dozer if no one has mentioned that yet on here . If you could get that engine pulled out then stripped as far as possible & a barrel or vat big enough you could do your electrolysis on it to get the engine freed up again if it's not seized from no oil pressure when it ran last . I was just at the local old time threshing bee we have out here every year except last because of the plandemic I noticed that one of the new machines that arrived that was on display was a old D4 or CAT D6 if I remember correctly that looks similar & around the same year that they will restore eventually like the few steam tractors they have & use for the event to run the saw mill & the rock crusher & some threshing machines .
