Guitars have a metal rod running up the inside of the neck to keep it straight called the truss rod. That’s probably why you couldn’t screw through the middle

Fully tuned up guitar strings add around 70-80 pounds of tension between the head-stock and bridge. That's probably why it broke so quickly the first time. It's also why it hurts when they break and pop you!

theres two rods inside the guitar, either metal or carbon, theyre called truss rods and are there to counteract the tension of the steel strings

There is a steel rod going through the neck of a guitar, it's anker is about where you were trying to put in a screw, so probably that's what you were dealing with. Also, you don't have to apologize to headphone users but rather advise them to download a software called ''soundlock'', it automatically detects volume spikes and adjusts them accordingly. It's handy with Netflix on some sound systems and also for you guys, I don't mind though, I'm already deaf
