Bro Tony preached for me when I pastored in Gastonia Nc. I personally got to know him. He was unbelievably humble and helpful. He told me to keep the offering and put it back in the church. He stayed till the last person left shaking hands and praying with folks. Btw. He drove 7 hours to preach 2 nights. Great man. Y’all have no idea the man he is.

​@VALIANTBEAST26 In another video, he mocked the singing of the doxology. It would do him well to study the history of the hymn and the writer, Thomas Ken. It goes back to the 1600s. It is a song of praise and worship to a thrice holy God and to the Trinity. In another video he mocked the Gloria Patri, which also exalts the Triune God. "Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, " . He errs in not knowing the history and theology behind these historic hymns. He also gets hung up on the word "catholic" in the Apostle's Creed. He relates this to the Roman Catholic church, which it is not referring to it at all. It refers to the Bride of Christ, all of the saints of the Old Testament and New Testament and all of those who Christ died for. If he does not want to be a part of that church, then he has another problem. Also he has no regard for the sacredness of God's sacred desk. It is a place for the reading and preaching of God's Holy Word, not for a circus performance.

Romans 10:17 - "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:14 - "....how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a PREACHER ?" I Corinthians 1:18 - " For the PREACHING of the cross is to them that perish foolishness...."

This is why I just preach verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book, all within correct context. I don’t need to bounce from topic to topic, I just pick up where we left off the week prior. Preach the Word! If you take two verses and twist them out of context then you’re just stripping the Word of its power to convict and edify. This is bafoonery, not biblical exposition.

Context always matters when you're doing something like this, which is why I don't put up two-second clips for most of my videos and why I leave original sermon links in the description of every video when those links are available. This particular video was more of a comedy video to celebrate 250 subscribers. It consists of segments of Tony Hutson just being Tony Hutson while he's preaching. I'm sure you will see that the majority of the videos I make are not like this.

His dad was a good preacher but watching a glutton guzzle water, preach against music he knows the lyrics and rhythms to, and do absurd comedy acts in the place of preaching is not a very good carrying of the torch his father carried for so many years. God bless curtis, i still listen to him
