Wow Logan! I am so sorry to hear this. I have been through it twice. Very reluctantly, I might add. Went through 2 train wrecks in my life and still survived it. I have met and married the love of my life now. I wouldn't trade her for anything that walks, talks, or crawls. I wouldn't even trade her for any tractor out there. Not even Big Bud. I am taking this week off to cut my winters firewood. The leaves are hitting their peak this week as well. I have a lot of sugar maples and they are just brilliant this year. I hope to get some good video this week. Also, I bought a drone. It will be a bit before I am confident enough to take it to the woods and fly it, but it will eventually make its way to the woods and I will be able to show the majesty of this property. If you ever need to talk Logan, you have my number. I don't need to know the details of the story. I am already biased. I don't know your wife. I only know you. I know you are hurting and I want you to know that I truly do care and I want to know that you are alright. I am sure that you have a good church family and they will shower you with love and support. Whatever comes Logan, remember the footprints in the sand. We do not walk alone. Never.

I grew up in a blended family, and two years ago my mom and step dad of 20 years divorced and it was a BIG life change. Though there was loss, there was also gains as well. Life goes on! That was quite the experience with the big limb falling. Quite a wake up call, for sure. Back when I was high school, many moons ago, a bunch of my friends and I went squirrel hunting down in our woods. We heard something up in a big dead tree. We circled that tree multiple times with guns at the ready. We were going to get that varmint cong if that were the last thing we did. It nearly was. As we reached the top of the hill away from the tree, there came a mighty crash. The tree that we circled multiple times came down in a heap right where we were only moments before. I have never forgotten that.

I'm so sorry to hear your bad news. You will come through it a stronger man. I find in times like this its good to keep busy. I love wood cutting videos of course! That tree falling was crazy. Ive had things like that happen out in the woods. I work alone most of the time and its a good idea to have cell phone with you and tell someone where your going. Take care and keep strong.
