Clearing a little land for camping and processing firewood, the outdoor life is going full blast. Not everything makes for great video, but it's good to stay productive.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I didn't roll up even one bale of hay. HA! Thanks for watching, old buddy!

Great idea using the pallet forks, save that back as much as possible 👍🏻. Have a great week Logan 🙋🏼‍♂️🙂👍🏻

I like to burn a little cedar on a campfire for the smell. It's not the best in a fireplace, though...

Nice work! We have to get going on the piles of wood we have here. There is something therapeutic about cutting and splitting wood. Enjoy that time with your boys!

I didn't know that about cedar, thanks. Great idea to use the tractor to cut at waist height. You are making great progress

Great to know where cedar gets the name, lol Logan. Great day to be in the woods. If I had that awesome Massey tractor, my wife would have to work another job. I would be in the woods every day. Rain or shine. Some days I would not even come to the house at the end of the day. I would just stay out driving the tractor in the woods all night. Beautiful scenery Logan. It has been a spectacular fall season.

The weather has been great here... actually got up around 75 or so today, so almost too warm. 50 F is my sweet spot. What's your favorite temp?

I use my 520 John Deere with the narrow bucket and dirt blade the same way you use your pallet forks. I really wish I had a grapple though.

@@FabbedFun the teethe are about 2 ft long and there is a 1/4 inch think steel plate with square loops welded one in front and one in back for the tines to slide through and then it bolts in place. I picked up a red oak log last week that was 38 inches across and 14 ft long. It will ride on the bucket that way then I take my saw and cut at one end until it starts getting tippy then I move to the other end. I didn’t even take my Kubota down this year. Barb was gone so I loaded my Kubota side by side on my trailer and pulled it down to the woods with my 520 John Deere. I unloaded it and drove the side by side back and hooked to the log splitter and pulled it down. Desperate times call for desperate measures

Hey Logan. That's red Cedar at the beginning. We have red Cedar and white cedar here. I'm back at it again too but not full bore yet. It's been very warm here lately. Not exactly woodcutting weather. Keep safe.

Don't you just hate it when the tree starts to go over and then stops for no good reason. I never know if it will go over when I step back up to it and just cut just a little more.....

Think of a tree your cutting down as a wild bear. Never turn your back on it once you've made that first cut.

If I'm using a chainsaw... I'm getting my socks full of saw dust. It is just a given. Then I forget to take my boots off before entering the house... then I get in trouble, again.
