You guys are quickly becoming my favourite travel vloggers. I'm a BC'er and I love to see other people enjoying our beautiful province. You are SO lucky to have received an "after hours" (before hours?) tour of Butchart Gardens. We were there in August a few years ago and I was so disappointed by all the crowds, it was hard to enjoy it. Also they had "keep off the grass" signs everywhere so you were only allowed to stick to the paved path and that's it. Last time we went to Victoria we went to the wharf and the children's farm at the park (both were excellent!). If you are ever back in the area you have got to try breakfast at Jam Cafe! The best bacon of your life! Also the restaurants in Tofino are surprisingly amazing considering their small population, we loved "Shelter" restaurant so much we went back for almost every meal during our stay. Kids also loved the Ucluelet Aquarium. They catch and release their animals every year! Including a giant octopus. :D
@KeepYourDaydream7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm glad we're making quick progress toward being your favs. Let us know when we're there! ;) I wish we would have clarified about the hours. We actually met Laura at 8:45 exactly when the park opened. We had it to ourselves it seemed until we looped back around to the front by 10am... and oh boy am I glad we got there when it opened. The next best time is 4-6pm when there seems to be a break.

She kept telling me stores, now I got to see some video. I agree the house was creepy, but the plane was fascinating. I believe it's a PBY Catalina. Cool planes.
