I remember pulling an all-nighter after being out clubbing so that we could catch the first metro to Tsukiji Market, everything we ate was absolutely mind-blowing 🤤 I remember this crazy scallop with king crab meat and uni, seared with a torch and served still in the shell MY LORD that uni was otherworldly I’m tearing up thinking about it. Sashimi bowl was bomb too.

Isn't the point of Omakase to leave it to the chef? Otherwise wouldn't just getting regular nigiri a better choice then you can dunk it in soy sauce as much as you want?

At first, I didn't know what you were saying, but you say there was "narazuke" in that shaved ice bowl? Wow! I wouldn't have guessed. Narazuke isn't my favorite because it tastes so alchoholic, but pairing the salty pickle with sweet syrup is so interesting. Would like to try it once.
