Excellent video. Almost an hour long! When I read the title of the video, I thought 20 of the 27 games would be FPS, given the popularity of the genre on the PC. Gladly, I was totally wrong. Your selection was really varied and interesting. It is great to have another video of this series. Thank you very much.

I actually read the Tenth Planet Books. I believe there were 3 of them. I only knew Bethesda from the Battle Isle series at the time, but those books proudly declared that the 10th Planet game was now in development.

@@onaretrotip Keep in mind that this was over 20 years ago. I don't remember them being terrible or anything. I think the aliens used nanotech to break down everything, leaving a layer of carbon in the fossil record and the planet came by every 6000 years or so. I remember they went out of their way to pick spots that wouldn't be devastating to us as a developing species.

Some real good looking games there Pete. I'd have been all over Heist. I loved Mark of the Ninja because of its stealth mechanic....looked similar.

Against the Wall - After a couple very impressive playable demos, where you climbed up an endless wall, the author announced that he was developing the concept into a full fledged game. Unfortunately the last blog update was in 2016 and he no longer answers email. :(

Fantastic video. Absolutely gutted Babylon 5 was canned. The opportunity to fly the Earth Force Starfury and the Thunderbolt. The Minbari Nial, the Centauri Sentri, the Narn Frazi and the Drazi Sky Serpent fighter was huge. Canning Xcom Alliance was a good move, Interceptor just didn't work and turning Xcom into a FPS, just screamed of cash in.

Jazz Jackrabbit 3 huh? There's a series that doesnt need to go 3D, when we do get a 3rd entry down the line, 2.5d is the best bet. Also, you forgot to add Silksong, LOL!

I’m well late to this, cancel my own view lol Too many games to mention, I’m gonna mention them anyway 😂 Fate, Heist, Pilot X all look 🔥🔥10th Planet, hahahahahh that made me laugh, the intro was so badass it drove the game into the ground. Nexus 2 👌Chroma, now that’s draw dropping creativity! Jack swang his way into failure lol Deprived would’ve created serial killers so best it was cancelled 🤣 Your right about Project overdrive, GTA would’ve destroyed it. Hannibal!?! I had no idea about that, what a shame 😢Amazing effort making this Pete, glad you didn’t cancel it lol 👏👏👏

Nice... I miss that series so much when I saw on my notification I jump in asap to watch once again here my personal opinion in no particular order: Jazz Jackrabbits 3: This and Xcom Alliance are the only two games that I already aware about it years before in other videos.. quiet ashame that jazz didnt get a proper sequel despise it have a GBA version witch it wasnt that good I hear but knowing his creator i dont believe we will ever see the sequel happen but I believe Jazz should follow more the Rayman 2 path rather that mario 64... Xcom Alliance: Same as Jazz and to be honest this and another Xcom cancel games is a bit of a shame but at the time the franchise was pretty bad.. I am not sure if Alliace and the remake of the UFO defense would salvage but thank for the Civilization dev their did gave that series a second chances years later. Captive: I do agree look like a interesting concept.. I woud love to see it.. Chroma: Interesting ideia but doing a FPS Rythm online.. is well too weird and Awkward.. maybe it was better if it was a Single player game... cause doing a online the majority people are already use to traditional FPS and learning a new type is quiet.. well questionable.. Citdael of Black Sun: Well shit.. sound like something from Guru Larry would put on his fact hunt video, how insane the reason why that game got cancel. Heist: See that game remind me of Ronin same gameplay but minus the gadget not sure if there other indie game based on that maybe The mark of the Ninja ? But i fell it not a huge lost. Cleric: really shameful.. I dont thing there alot of game use the Serious Sam Engine.. victim of not having a publisher.. as many other cancel game happen... tragic Fallen Frontier: Really shameful cause I fell like a coop game would be fun.. and going to the mobile games market is really the sight of dead.. cause all the waste potential bungies dev now working on lame mobiles games... what a wasted. 10thplanet: If Bethesda would make that game with the experience their did would be benefict for Starfield... cause Starfield is a joke compare to other spaces games.. no really build a square ship and you pretty much untouchable since the enemies shoot target the center since their were program to shoot only on the center.. knowing that you can exploit while other space games know how to avoid that issue Hanibal: Look promising as a license game based of the movie I do say it could be a predecesor of FEAR.. shame the world will never see.. Hired Guns: Very shame.. but I fell game like that would work in today heck we need more Coop games but the concept of playing a FPS with managing 4 character at the same time it fell weird for me who know maybe it could be fun or not Nexus 2: By the look of that it look way too much ambitious.. Star Citizen level of ambitious Forgotrn Castle: Yikes.. 9 FLOOPY DISK ? Jesus that is Star Citizen DOS Edition right there... it should have been work on CD and not Floopy disk in my opinion.

Back when i was a kid i remember playing a demo of a war game that seemed like a Command & Conquer, but i believe it was turn based. The demo came along the CD from a friend of mine, where the main game was Re-Volt(old game). I think i tried back then to google the game and getting nothing on it. Could anyone have an idea?
