It took me hours to get Lucifer down. It's alot about reading his next moves and using your magic powers efficiently and saving all of your redemption for this fight. Hardest part of course is when you fight Lucifer in his smaller form.

Okay, I finally beat this bitch on Infernal. Took a LOT of trial and error, but I managed to find a good method that worked for me. I doubt anyone's gonna see this at this point, but I know there's gonna be some poor fool who'll be stuck at this fight, desperate for some kind of help, so I might as well post this here. If you see this, I hope you find it helpful. - STEP 1: Relic equipment Francesco's Forgiveness to minimize damage done to you. Ciacco's Bile to gain mana regeneration. Lord's Blessing to maximize cross damage, since that's what you'll be using most at first. Stone of Wrath to minimize mana cost. (Note: This Relic is DLC. If you don't have this relic, you can equip Death Blade instead to maximize scythe damage. Otherwize, if you do have Stone of Wrath, keep it on, and swap Lord's Blessing for Death Blade during Lucifer's 2nd form.) - STEP 2: Magic equipment The ONLY magic you'll absolutely need for this fight is Holy Armor. It'll both heal you AND render you immune to all damage. - STEP 3: The fight itself Lucifer has three forms, and his first form has three phases. - FORM 1 It's generally a good idea to activate Holy Armor as soon as you can and whenever you can, since most of Lucifer's attacks can kill you in one or two hits, but if you're feeling brave, you can save it for the second form. In the first phase, Lucifer will start by pounding the ground with either his left or right hand (it seems to be random), sending out huge shockwaves that can damage you even if you aren't completely touching the ground. I'd recommend staying in the middle of the arena and double jumping whenever he winds up his attack. It's fairly well telegraphed, so you should be able to react in time. Get in a cross attack or two while you're jumping if you feel like it. His sixth ground pound has a slightly longer windup and sends out a wave of ice spikes, but you should be out of harm's way for them. Grab him and while you're close to his face, use Vile Cyclone to slash him up. This should stun him. While he's stunned, get as close to him as you can and unleash four cross attacks, then dodge forward to reset the combo, then four cross attacks again, and repeat until he recovers. This will maximize damage done to him. Once he recovers, he'll use a wind pushback move that'll push you all the way back to the arena and send out two fire tornadoes after you. They're a bit tricky to avoid, and also a bit finnicky about when and how they can disappear, but just move to the side if you see them coming for you, that usually works. If one of them catches you, press the jump button to recover, and then activate Holy Armor to recover health. (Side note: Holy Armor will deactivate when you grab Lucifer.) When he has lost about a fifth of his health, he's at phase 2, and that's when he starts doing ground pound combos. They're a lot faster, but it's always the same pattern. Left - right - double Left - right - right - double Wind pushback He does this pattern twice, and then does the ice spike attack, leaving him open for a grab again. When he's down to about half health, he'll move to phase 3 and change his attack pattern again. It's slightly slower this time. Left - right - left - right - double The double slam will send out fire trails, but they're pretty easy to avoid. Left - left - right - left - right - right - double The double slam will send out waves of ice spikes and leave Lucifer's head open to cross attacks for a few seconds. He'll then send out a wind pushback and repeat the pattern until he's defeated. - FORM 2 Now, it's time for cheese galore. Swap out Lord's Blessing for Death Blade, activate Holy Armor, then activate Redemption, and then go absolutely HAM on that heavy attack button. Doing it this way, you don't really need to worry about his attack patterns. Just remember to reactivate Holy Armor as soon as it runs out, or you're gonna get your ass handed to you fast. I know this may seem a bit cheap, but y'know what? Infernal is cheap, and I'm too salty to fight fair. - FORM 3 This is where Lucifer stays in the air most of the time. Spam Holy Armor, grab him when you see the prompt, scythe him up, repeat until he goes: "Remember the war in Heaven, remember the Rebellion!" Then just grab, grab, grab, grab, grab, grab, do the final QTE, and the bitch is beat.

The shockwaves dont cover the entire circle? WIN! Good strategy, I was (stupidly) trying to time the jumps and delay the with power attacks. Though to share out techniques, I block-cancel your cross attacks after 3 shots so I can spam them quicker. Are you not doing this purposefully? (maybe the last shots are more powerful?)

He is not even that hard it's just with Holy Dante your scythe does almost no damage, and he counters your cross. Not to mention his attacks take about half your health per hit Idk wtf to do, I'm on hardest difficulty, and up till now I've been ripping through enemies. @masterofre51v2 Dante's inferno it's easier on infernal than gow2 in titan mode. But you have to evade a lot ant try to kill some enemies faster so you can concentrate in others.

I don't think so D.I. has a gameplay system where the player doesn't gain more hit points, the bar only becomes more visible. Now, Mana on the other hand, increases in points(all of this if the game is properly updated). The difficulty you select also determines the player's maximum HP, regardless of how much they upgrade it. And lastly, for damage dealt, if the game is fully updated, from level 0 to level 7, it increases by 100% on both weapons(without the additional 20% from specific relics) Dante's Inferno is much harder than any GoW games and most action/combat-oriented games.
