I don't think so I had a 27inch 1440p 144hz and now a lg 32inch 4k 144hz monitor and 32 is significantly better overall for competitive and story combined

32inch 1440p 240-360hz is the sweet spot. 4k would take to much money to run at those framerates.

@@adhirajbagaria8725 This is hilarious considering a 32 inch TV was my first ever HDMI supportive display. 32 inches on my desk? No thanks

Depends on the use case. For gaming? 27" @ 2k is a good size, as it sits around 112 PPI. For gaming + work, I'd argue that the perfect size is ~36" (possibly 38" on an OLED) @ 4k to have the ideal 100% ratio in Windows. 40"+ is too big and requires you to sit further back or move your head a lot (might not be an issue now with OLED's since they don't have viewing angle issues like other panels) and 32" @ 4k requires the monitor to be really close or to be scaled since it's 138PPI I always look for a PPI (after any scaling) to be about 100-120.

Whats your ideal monitor size for basic or casual sim racing or driving(euro truck/american truck simulator plus other chill driving games)?
@GeekStreet27 күн бұрын
In that situation I'd say go for an ultrawide monitor as you'd get a better view in the cabin of the truck

I'm using a 2560x1080p 34" ultrawide 75Hz IPS and its perfectly fine for this use case. But whenever i push the steering wheel aside and use it for daily tasks, i'm noticing the individual pixels. I'm planning to refresh this with a 3440x1440 px at the same 34" size maybe with a higher refresh rate. IMO 34" is the sweetspot for gaming / everyday use / desk allocation. Don't forget to get a monitor arm btw...

A 32inch size would make it an amazing product!

Nice monitor but too expensive (at least in the States). You can get a similarly-specced LG or ROG OLED for $200 less, or a 360hz Alienware OLED for $100 less.

240Hz? Mostly wasted on PS5. You need--PERHAPS--PS5 Pro for that, and even that I am not sure it'll support 240Hz.
@GeekStreet29 күн бұрын
240Hz is aimed at PC gamers, current gen consoles even the PS5 Pro are limited to 120Hz. This is more of an all round monitor for those people looking for a 27" with a bit more to offer

Sorry, but 27 inches and "perfect" don't belong in the same sentence when talking about gaming monitors.

Competitive gamers playing fps games generally go for the small screens, so ideal in that situation 👌
