I was exactly the opposite at age 27. I was a virgin. I was broke. I had no career path, and was very depressed because of all these things. However, the good thing about being in a bad spot is how it gives you motivation to change. My life started getting good in my 30s and I'm really good on money. I paid cash for both my cars, don't have a mortgage and still don't mess with women. Women are expensive no matter what you do. It's better to stay a virgin and focus on making money instead of making babies. It doesn't matter if you're a virgin when you have more money than everyone else. I think poverty is far worse than virginity. I'd rather die a virgin than die poor.

There’s nothing wrong with finding a partner and having someone by your side. I agree that it might be costly, but I find it scary to be 35 with no kids. We should become the best version of ourselves for ourselves, but I feel like many want to live that playboy lifestyle. There’s nothing wrong with that but I wouldn’t want to be 36 and still sleeping around regardless if they’re 10’s. I’m doing this for my future partner and my kids. I generally agree with the argument. Mortgages though - Western currencies are debasing year after year. Manipulated CPI numbers puts inflation at 7%, when it’s actually more like 15%. Most mortgages are fixed at 3%. Even if you’re buying a house to live in and not renting it, the house is still an asset by default and the debt you owe on it is eroding overtime.

The problem with this is when left to their own devices, women do not work on themselves or improve in anyway, they just throw themselves further down the gutter. If you're waiting until you're older, you're never going to have those times of building up a relationship when you're both young and fresh or experiencing new things together. The older you get, the less you'll have in common with a younger chick, you're not going to want to do the same things. And all the women around your age will just have been wrecking themselves for all those years that you've been building up

Only get married if you are religious. After all a wedding day is a religious ceremony. It still baffles me that atheists still get married, even tho they don't truly believe in it. Loving someone should be enough, you don't need to declare your love infront of a god that you don't believe in! Save the wedding money and do something fun with it.

My question now for you all would be, are there things that having a committed relationship with a girl and/or having a kid (or maybe not yet until later) stops a man from achieving all these things that he would if he “waited” longer to settle down? I never understood the idea that settling down holds a man back in his life. I’m genuinely curious.

Well February turning 27 intresting that I found here, but I will never giving up on my goals and dreams until I reach it.. I don’t care if I don’t have lot of money or no children’s. But I’m still scared to end up with nothing and being mental burned. Most pressure would come from Asian parents telling when u have babies or how the career going? They don’t understand my drive for my goals hm

Being a Hispanic man; my Hispanic culture has always been like this; Hispanic people have kids first and then get “married” years later after having like 10 kids by the time they are 25-30 😂 I can make fun of my culture for that cuz I’m Hispanic myself and witnessed that. I’m not the average 30 year old Hispanic man cuz I don’t have kids and never been “married”. After seeing my friends and family getting divorces and fighting custody of their kids, that greatly discouraged me from having kids and getting “married” in my 20s. The reason I put these “ “ in the word “marriage” cuz I see it as a joke and scam for men. It only benefits the woman and never the man. So I don’t believe in “marriage”. I only believe in being with a woman and having kids with her without ever getting the government involved. But I don’t plan on having kids now and I’ll choose to start settling down until probably like 38-43. I don’t care if people think that’s too old cuz I’m in control my life and nobody else is. I’m in the process of starting my own business and I don’t have time for unnecessary distractions in my 30s. Also, a lot of men get “married” with women that they don’t even like or don’t see her as attractive cuz that’s the one woman they had for the moment. That shit is sad and depressing to me. But that’s not gonna be me. Eventually I will want to be with a woman but it will be with a woman that I desire to be with. I refuse to settle for less.

Would a man of value message in comment section ? Anyways about me , Im 25 , 5ft 5 don't have much assets, friends or gf but I feel like my life is just beginning. I totally agree with first man about most man at age 27 because we are seeing this with millennial men being unhappy & I know we gen z men can & will do way better - like Gary vee said "you got so much time" I live by it & it's not always fun/pretty because what stinks about 'working on yourself' is that you see fam & friends get ( "more temporary success") leaving you felt left behind, however you will eventually top them out and probably live a better life as long as you don't settle early . For me it's been hard because I haven't done anything with a women in 6 years, still finding my mission, improving on social skills due to Asperger syndrome & trying to do more instead of thinking so much on my journey of lifetime growth. I think HS is a demo to real life , felt at my peak the last semester but freshman- junior - I was nobody & felt life did me wrong being the last on everything. I think a man should have multiple peaks in life because neither do I want to look back at my 20s and see how rough it was just to live' good in my 30+ life. Hope this made sense and it helped out for anyone ,-pls DM for any questions or advice peace.

I see the situation very differently: the age men can find women to marry depends wholly on the WOMEN. Men have the pair bonding urge from the moment their testosterone peaks, women are simply reacting to the drop in testosterone around 28 that causes an exponential decline in interest- aka women are timing the market. Earlier female cohorts attempting to push the age of marriage out as far as age 43 did very poorly, the current max age givers around 32. I don’t see a way out. It is what it is

Some of this advice clearly comes from never forming a true emotional relationship/bond with somebody. Whether it's your inability from your character or from the way you grew up, it's sad to me that all you view of women is as "Oh you could've waited 3 years and gotten with a girl 2 points hotter". I can't say there's anything to be jealous of if this your view of the world.
@reke99422 жыл бұрын
I can understand why you feel that way. But I think the main take away he is making is not just settling the moment the life starts opening more opportunities to you. A person can be vain and say I’m waiting just so I can date a hotter girl, which I don’t think is his whole argument, but let’s honestly question what most women are looking for in men. I can bet most women are willing to not settle for a guy that doesn’t have a job compared to one who has. Extreme example but I hope it gets my point across.
@zb65812 жыл бұрын
@@reke9942 I think that's a pretty healthy way of looking at it. Completely agree that nobody should settle and many men shouldn't be distracted by relationships anyway if they're grinding. I've just noticed a trend lately of self-improvement KZbinrs looking at women purely from the what's external and not considering that people have substance on the inside too. I just wanted to warn people that having a girl '2 points hotter' or whatever isn't always what it's cracked up to be. My happiest relationship was with somebody that I left (who I still considered attractive) because I thought that being with somebody even more attractive was what I needed, but I regret it. I was foolish and hope that others can do better.

It's not -just- that the girls you can get are hotter. There are a lot of hot girls who are an absolute nightmare and would make your life miserable. It's that when you are at your peak as a man (a mixture of things, but yes it includes looks and finance, as well as emotional maturity), you are now in a place where you have the most possible options with women, so you can now be selective for the kind of woman that you really want.

you have about 2 years to change things radically. 1 year to kill your bad habbits and the next year to absolutely figure out what you want to do . after that. it just aint gonna happen. you might be able to get a hobby , find community through the hobby etc. but you wont learn any new meaningful skills or have many opportunities to have a really successful career.

It's all about life setup. Female attention is 1 good gauge, do you have beautiful women wanting to be with you/secondly could you retire tomorrow and be relatively okay?
