Patrick, please disregard the commenters who only want to see spit-and-toilet-paper DIY models. I appreciate that you show a wide range, and whether I can afford every build right now or not, I'm glad to see what's possible -- particularly when the quality is this high. Another great tour and another beautiful van!

Replace with a laveo.
@jaytabac65253 ай бұрын
@@PandaLAG its not that simple. You are left with a hole in the floor or the side of the van that needs to be covered, somehow . . . then you need to find a way to repair the fibreglass floor. second, the laver dry flush would not fit. although i think that this process is not feasible, it would cost a lot of extra $$ if you can find a way to make it work. How about the van companies just give you an option to not have a toilet?

I like 27 north manufacturing, however the overall feeling is a little cold/utilitarian for my taste. Also the back bathroom is cool but in my opinion there should be some kind of storage space for toiletries, a fold down sink and wood slots over the shower pan, which can be covered with a little rug, so you don’t drag dirt into the shower pan. When you are ready to shower you remove the rug and your wood slots are clean and keep your feet of the bottom of the pan. We did all that in our custom designed bathroom and couldn’t be happier.
@kishg9 ай бұрын
Yes, we plan to add a bamboo slat to the shower pan. pretty easy to do. This tour shows it the van basically stock form. We have since added our own touches to it. Storage space for toiletries is via modular shelving units we installed behind the wall in the space between that rear bath wall and the rear doors. Works well and we don't feel the need for folding sink. As for aesthetic, that's subjective. We actually like this look and feel over the more baroque traditional rv style. Each to ther own.

Great van! Can anyone talk about the positioning of sinks and stove tops on counters. On my stove the burners are two inches from the front leaving more space to set other items. Is there a reason not to use apron front sinks? They take advantage of those inches on the front edge of the counter? The sink could then save on width going longer front to back. Faucets take up counter space too. Could sink faucets be wall mounted or offset on the counter to the left or right of the sink? RV's are fun puzzles that need a cheat sheet or handbook with tips and PeeChee style measurements. Patrick, I nominate you for author of a publication or an app. Thanks everyone, G 😎
@Erin-Thor9 ай бұрын
Excellent, but that winch isn’t adequate for that vehicles weight. You need a winch with capacity GREATER, usually 1.5x the vehicle weight. So if you have a 5000 pound vehicle, a 9000 pound winch would be the minimum recommended. They are assuming that you’re not going to take that van anywhere serious over any extreme terrain or mud/snow. (Probably a valid assumption.) 😊
@kishg9 ай бұрын
Agree. I am planning to switch that out to a 12k Warn winch before we head west in the fall. We will be taking it off the beaten path in CO, UT, AZ etc and eventually into Baja and next year Alaska. Not extreme mud or rock crawling obviously. That's what Jeeps are for :)

@@kishg Thanks! Is the 230K estimate including the exterior upgrades? Regarding 27North, what is their warranty? Do you have to go to Missouri for warranty repairs or can you go somewhere local in NJ?

@@sammys1123 I would contact them for accurate pricing but the van does come with the external upgrades. Their warranty is 18 months and they work with local dealers for warranty repairs.

The only issue I see here, when compared to the class leading Revel is, although the Adventure is longer, there are only seatbelts for 2 persons vs. 4 in the Revel. Disappointing!

Does anyone happen to know what 27North uses for insulation?
@randerson4383Ай бұрын
It’s really interesting, they raise rabbits on the premises. When the rabbits are first born, they slaughter, dry them and then affix the hides to the interior for insulation.

You bought this brand new. A lot of the people are buying these Van brand new. This plenty of good used ones for half the price. Why do these people continue to spend lots of money? No wonder middle class people have no money. They're spending money unexpensive brand new vehicles, which is okay. But really get a good news, one for half the price just as good. I'm building that yourself. I know some people can't do it. I get it.

That Van must cost you at least a $150000 for that. Everybody's buying those Mercedes Benz bands. And we're following each other. I want to say something different for a change.

Wait a minute, this is not the I. Y skyboard, this Van, as you see, you must be easily paid. Almost 200000 with high lyft wheels for byfall and Mercedes Benz Van 2024. You definitely paid almost 200000 for that. You'll be in debt for years to come. Miss A, buy house with that money. I told you, but I would use one build it up yourself. Cause you're 3/4, less people are crazy, but they each do their own, I guess. The golden distant channel. Teach me thank God I'm DIY saying God. I can make my own. I'm so so blessed and lucky.
