270726 Session 1a - Piano Rolls and Australia

Thank you. This has been very interesting. After more than 70 years, I recently found a pianola roll, cut by Laurel Pardey in the early 1950's. My late father, Australian popular music songwriter Ernie Davidson, was the composer of the music. It is a real find. It is a Mastertouch roll. I haven't managed to hear it yet. The same song was released on a Broadway roll. I am now searching around for this one. The preservation of our Australian music is a wonderful thing. Keep up your good work. The effort you put in is vital to our Australian music history.
