Isn't it dangerous to have a tail heavy trailer? ///// I've watched A LOT of your videos and in all those videos I never thought for a moment that you rambled in the things you were saying. I have always found your videos very exciting, often informative, and you seem like a decent guy not all full of himself. ///// Wow, glad you are ok after that fall, I surprised you did not edit that out, but it does show the danger a split second can make regardless on a slippery trailer or driving & I agree with you about the railings....... Thumbs up to you and Kalli Dog!!! Wishing you good loads and safe trucking..............

so Dan, is there any disadvantages to running a lift front axle on your spread axle trlr? Can reduce your tire wear I would think when you lift the axle.

Hey Super Dan the man, I watched that trip and fall 3 times & it's safe to safe that no freaking way was there a risk of you falling through the yellow rails. I can see if you were tall and slender but you are not so thank GOD you are okay! My best buddy drove a Peterbilt with a lowboy and on an icy day January 12th of 2015 slipped and his foot got caught on the extra wide tire of the military fork lift he was carrying and hit the ground, the guy will never drive a semi for a living again. So please don't say that you're going fall and roll like you are in the U.S. Marine corp you chubby bastard!!! Ha ha ha.

Hey Dan! Did you happen to run Hwy 63 into Missouri through Ottumwa, IA and Bloomfield, IA? Those towns are only about 20 miles apart. I grew up in Bloomfield so... small world! I rode with my dad a couple times taking crushed cars to Iowa Steel there in Wilton from a salvage yard in Bloomfield.

Those pipes look more dangerous then just falling, I was 26 years on rgn and the company decided no more tarps broke my heart, most of our freight was construction and big farm equipment, pull toy here.

Here in Australia Health Safety Man as stopped climbing onto your trailer in lots of places.. We have moveable steps, platforms for you to stand on no standing on trailer,,, Some places have overhead wire you attach a harness to that's great on ones crutch when moving around, Work sites its flat top trailers with a safety strap all round.. So we just put up poles & run ratchet straps,, Latest pain I ran into on roadwork construction site here, chocking wheels before unloading,, Seems some clown did something dumb & truck rolled away,,, Safety man Wins, Now its High Vis clothes, safety boots, hard hat, beacon lights, Induction to site, CB radio, Phones secure away from driver, wheel chocks, Now enter work site follow traffic control instructions & wait & wait... Some big construction site we now must have a escort,,, Work what work still sorting health safety instructions...

Interesting thats harder to get a lass with a curtain side. We only use curtain side trailer. It takes 30 seconds to pull the roof and close it.
