I mostly only care about Cyberpunk, first off it's being made by the guys who developed the Witcher game franchise so that's great, the lore and world of Cyberpunk just intrigues me and I can't wait to see how CDPR will implement the classic table top RPG, hopefully RDR2 comes to PC eventually but that's in the far future, great video :)

We know close to nothing about Cyberpunk 2077. Why are you so sure about it's success? It's this kind of expectation that makes me believe that the game will actually flop harder than NMS. CDPR just cannot live up to the hype. Plus, they only made two good games - Not nearly enough to consider them to be the saviours of gaming.

It is still strikes me how even triple A developers, keep filling up the scene with health bars, know-who bars, going-there bars, stamina bars, here-is-another bar..... And how game immersion break it is You really feel it when you get a game with a minimal head-up display and just enjoy the scenario and the game story I can hardly believe they still fell for that trap

Horizon Zero Dawn was the best one of 2017 followed closely by Nier Automata (awesome stuff). 2018? Pillars Of Eternity 2 and Rocksteadys Batman Superman game and The Talos Principle 2 in 2019. Beyond that to 2020 or 2021 I believe Cyberpunk 2077 will be the best one and the one Im looking forward to. I wish Dragon Age 4 still looked promicing but Anthem will blow (just like Battlefront 2) and EA will kill Bioware with thier mirotransaction multiplayer practices.

tbh DontNod is an amazing company. Rather you like LiS or not (I did but I also like TellTale games and enjoyed Heavy Rain so..) DontNod is an indie company that really does listen to it's fans and the fans worries and criticisms of the game. Which is probably why your worries of Vampyr were fixed. They really do listen. It's refreshing. The final episode of LiS had a TON of fan-jokes and "theories" as little easter eggs in the game. They responded to the voice sync that everyone was flaming about, at first they explained they didn't have enough money then when they released the limited edition of LiS they also released a patch that helped the audio sync as much as it could. Really I respect DontNod a fuck ton.

The reason Mass Effect was bad is because EA was working on Anthem. Not Mass Effect. Nothing to be worried about. It's nothing like crack down though. More like Destiny and The Division combined on Pandora (from Avatar)

Sure, previous games have always been released in the West some time after the East, but every installment to the Monster Hunter Franchise has been available in the west at one time or another.

about Monster Hunter: you mean finally making it's way back to PlayStation in the West right? Monster Hunter, in the beginning, was on PS. But since then it's been just Nintendo, the DS and WiiU etc, and PS portable- with some being console in Japan only. However the most recent Monster Hunters were available in the West for WiiU and 3DS. Monster Hunter 3 and beyond were available in the West, just not for Sony or Microsoft. It's actually pretty huge they're bringing it to all consoles. It's never been on Xbox before. Universal Studios Japan mustve been generating hype for this when their Monster Hunter exhibit came the same time as the SnK season 2 exhibit.

Still crossing my finger for skyrim 2 (elder scrolls 6). All I want from that games is a batter of wither and skyrim, with a springle of might and magic: dark messiah, a topping of citadel forged with fire and a cherry with chivalry. Great graphics, great effects, great magic, great sword play, great story, and a lot of content.

Untile consoles open thier systems for optimization/expandability they will not progress much.. The console companies need to offer true 1080p or a option of a thunderbolt port to do so and a minimal of 16gb of 🐏..only then game play will be worth it in huge open world games. example: Ark Survival

I'm pretty sure they are making up horsemen now. Fury isn't a Horsemen. the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are War, Death, Famine, and Pestilence. But I guess the last 2 wouldn't be too fun in their own game, so they had to make up Fury .
