Thanks Nilesh Oak ji for showing the Bird's eye view. Many things get clear from that visualization. I have a question though. I always wonder why we did not have year numbering system that time? How did they keep track of their own age and other things?

Namaskar. We do not know what specific short term numbering system(s) they had in ancient times. We do know that they must have had them, since they do refer to ages of individuals and durations between events. What is fascinating is that they decided to encode events with unique 'nimitta' markers that survived the loss of short term measuring systems. Hope this helps

Are you presenting it from just astronomical point of view or do you think some unique astrological configurations were present at the start/during the war?

Namaskar The same unique astronomy (planetary) configuration including specific nakshatra arrangments for cardinal points + specific Arundhati-Vasishtha configuration was present in 5561 BCE, the year of the Mahabharata. This astronomy set described in the Mahabharata text did not occur before or after 5561 BCE, anytime. Details in my 2 (of 3) books. Hope this helps.

uranus neptune pluto are not considered as planets. astrology software just follow programmed calculation whereas planets can move against the mathematical calculation. that is why neither lord krishna's birth chart nor lord rama's chart is possible. planets are happy when avatar takes place that is why they move to their best positions which is not possible otherwise under normal conditions. planets are connected to pole stars which push and pull planets. same will happen in the end of kaliyuga.
