Good review I got the same griddle at Walmart about a month ago for $197.00, my wife been wanting one for years so I seen the 28” and plenty big for us. I got a gas grill, two pellet grills, why not get a black stone. Lol

I got mine yesterday. Set it up today, seasoned it with Blackstone seasoning oil. did everything right. Went to cook my first meal tonight and the top plate is warped. the oil runs to the front or back. the middle of the steel griddle is warped. Like an upside down bowl. I put a level to it and the level rocks in different directions. Definitely not flat. So I will be calling Blackstone tomorrow and asking for a new top. Has this happened to anyone else?

@@TheWarehouseSeries I phoned Blackstone this morning and they said that is perfectly normal. He said quite often it takes about 10-12 uses before it settles into a permanently flat top. It sounds doubtful, but he did't seem surprised and quickly said don't worry thats normal. I had breakfast on it this morning and I could actually see it level off. But when it cooled off it went back to the warped position. Its warp diagonally or kiddie corner. I took it off the griddle stand and put it on the kitchen table. I could slip my whole finger under one leg that is not touching the table surface. So maybe at least a 1/2" twist.

@@TheWarehouseSeries He said" If it stays twisted, just call him and he'll send us a new top. " He said it takes about 10 days to be delivered. It's our second Blackstone, so I have full confidance in the company. Meanwhile, I will keep using it, and probably stay away from anything that will run to much. Damn, does that mean, its smashed burgers for the next week. 😄
