I would just like to say thank you! I started shooting wedding films for fun and realized how much I enjoyed it. I have only shot three weddings and they are nothing worth talking about. Watching your videos has made me want to do better and make cinematic wedding videos. My next wedding is May 20, 2017. I have ordered lots of things I did not have like sliders. I'm still in the early stages and investing what I can each wedding. So with all that being said I would like to say thank you once again for making me take a different look at what it means to be a film maker specifically a wedding film maker. Never stop!

Thanks Kraig. I really appreciate what you are doing and so get what you are doing.I am a retired stills wedding photographer(now 70). In 2000 ,and just before, my son and I started having a go at wedding videos to compliment the stills. We invested "big " money, about $6000 in SVHS equipment.Then graduated to a Canon XL1 mini dv camera and thought it was the greatest thing. My son Daniel was becoming very good at weddings but developed a health problem which meant he could not work on his feet for long periods.To cut a long story short he joined the AFTRS(Australian Film Radio and Television School) and ended up working in the motion film industry doing digital artistry on Hollywood films.He is still doing that.I am happily retired and doing some occasional teaching of photography. I enjoy your relaxed style which can only come with knowing what you are doing. I know that often people doing this stuff learn how to look cool even if they are quite tense.Things like sliders I had never seen in action until I started watching your channel.Very clever. Keep up the good work. geoff.

Hi Kraig, just saying that I do not fall to any of the types of subscribers, I am not even close to being a filmmaker or I do not even have anything to do with wedding industry. And the thing, which brought me here and kept me watching was curiosity of how your craft is done AND your charisma. I needed to see only one video to hook me up. Anyway man, cheers and keep up the good work!

You are doing such a good job Kraig. I watched your behind the scenes video it was really entertaining. It was one of the only full hour videos I've ever watched on YT. You are a master of time management. I'm a KZbinr too and I don't' know how you function creating a behind the scenes while you are filming something so time sensitive as a wedding. Keep up the good work.

Hey Kraig, I have just download the free trial for the Media Zilla. It looks easy to use and the price seams reasonable. I'll let you know how it work for me. Also the Monopod you use for one of the weddings I think i will get my self one for sure. Always thought about that but now that you made this video, I can see that works just great. Thank you for the great work with your videos. Jorge JN Creative Videos LLC.

I shot a wedding recently with a DJ I had never worked with before. After I edited the film and used the audio that I recorded through the DJ's system, the audio was fine playing back on my computer. But when the bride played it back on her phone, the audio from the DJ sounds like a mouse, or some other language. I tried to convert the audio to a different codac, but it didn't help. Any suggestions? Thanks. Jay
@jackpaton18177 жыл бұрын
You need to change the audio to mono. If you have two channels exactly the same, they cancel each other out on a phone. Change the Audio to a dual mono track and it will work fine.
@1NATURELOVERJ7 жыл бұрын
Jack Paton Do I drop one channel or combine? Thanks.
@jackpaton18177 жыл бұрын
What program are you using? I'll send a tutorial.
@jackpaton18177 жыл бұрын
Drop one channel. If in Final Cut, just select the audio source and change it to "dual mono". If on something else, drop one channel, then, so that it comes through both Left and Right channels you need to copy the same audio clip and paste it to a track directly underneath the other. Set one of the audio clips to 100% Left and the other 100% Right. Hope this helps. If you get stuck, I can send a tutorial from youtube, depending on what program you're using.
@1NATURELOVERJ7 жыл бұрын
Jack Paton. Amazing, and simple. Who knew smart phones were mono. All of the toasts were that way. I love easy fixes. I use Sony Vegas, but similar process. Thank you big time.

love your channel!!! also super WEIRD question- but if a wedding has an open bar do you ever grab a drink? just curious if that's acceptable or not while on the job.
@MsTessG7 жыл бұрын
A professional will never drink on a job. Even if 99% of the people there think it's fine, that 1% who think you less professional for it will be a lost opportunity for you to gain their business. Never do it.
