Getting back into Logic after I switched to Live years ago. This is helping me relearn Logic. Thanks! Gonna use both programs now for their strengths

this series is excellent! I always think I know how to use whatever you're about to explain in the video, and then I watch it and realize there was so much more to learn. You are an excellent instructor.

So thankful for this video! Found this just at the right time! Great walk through, this channel has proven to be the most productive discovery I've made this year.

Excellent, thank you for covering automation rows. I've never had much luck with Logic's region automation, but this seems like a more intuitive option, especially for making sounds that slowly morph over time, like many modern electronic / techno artists do. And I suppose you just can set the step rate of your automation row to something really low, like 1 bar, if you want a really gradual change!

Very good! Thanks for this. I didn't know that I can add filter automation inside step sequencer mode.

great video! I don’t think I need my Polyend Play lol Is it possible to randomize step length for an individual row?

Does it have swing?
@drvoodoo3073Ай бұрын
Yes, the Step Sequencer has Swing. It’s located on the main Step Sequencer Inspector

HI, I'm not sure if this works with other drum programmes. I am trying it with NI drums and instead of adding unused kit pieces I get Notes. Such as C1 or B3 etc. It's gonna be tedious to work out what drum instrument matches each key because it is one at a time. I wish it worked as well as DMD.

Unless you do it one time and then save as a template? But yes very tedious.

Go faster dude I mean you are going way too slow with the directions I have not even right clicked on the track pad and you are 9000 steps ahead 👏👏👏👏👏

You want to learn how to use Logic Pro. Your lessons are probably the best on the net. However, I have a very important point. Put yourself in the shoes of someone who doesn't speak English well. Very often you talk (fast) and move the mouse quickly at the same time. It is impossible to read the text and follow the mouse. Anyway, you can't always see what you click. The student stops and goes back hundreds of times to find out how you did something, and is not always able to figure it out. I've been fighting for 4 hours now and not everything you've done has been determined. I understand that you don't want the video to be long. But in this way, a non-English speaking student like me cannot fully benefit. I suggest you consider it. Isn't it better to say what you're going to do and then act with the mouse. If it wasn't for this little thing, it would be AWESOME!

If speed is a concern just set KZbin’s playback setting to 0.75x or 0.5x and it will play the video at a slower speed

Im not English speaker but i watch it on 1.75 and understand everything immediately. So its just you. You can read a manual instead of watching a video.

Hi! is it possible to set a range for random velocity in step seqwencer?
@drvoodoo3073Ай бұрын
You cannot set a range for any of the randomization in Step Sequencer, however you can use the Velocity Processor MIDI FX on the track itself to set a range.
