The analogy was a bit rough but you said it better when you mentioned it's basically a clone signal. Ty for your newbie to ninja

Thanks so much for all this info. Your videos have not only changed my whole way of working in LPX but also reinvigorated me and given me the confidence to continue to work on music moving forward. The creative process is one of the most fulfilling things in the world for me but editing tracks was so painful and inefficient I was having doubts. I owe you and this channel a lot, so here's a small thanks

Thank you so much for the great explanation of the send and the rest of the family. The water analogy was when my brain finally clicked. 😅👏👏🙏🏼

that last bit at the end is gold, been watching a lot of music production tutorials focused on house music and most of them are done in ableton and that helped me translate a lot of what they're doing to be applied in logic, thank you!

Great series! I really would love to use Logic, but I just hate the way of zooming. In Fl or Ableton I can hold cmd and scroll from down to up to zoom in at the place where my mouse is or the other way around to zoom out. Is there any way to do that in Logic? I know you can switch shortcuts in Logic but I can't get it work, help would be much appreciated🙏🏻🙏🏻

Command + Option turns your pointer instantly into zoom tool, that’s the quickest/easiest way I’ve found. Actually I didn’t find that, I learned it from this series

You chose a DAW based on its zoom 🤣🤣🤣

@@anywherenearzeroI use Logic for about 2 years now and I must admit that zooming isn't great...

Great video, and very helpful, but why would I get the drum track included on my Vox Bus? I tried to reassign the Vox to a different Bus, and could hear everything except the Vox? Is there something in Settings that I need enable?

Is there a tutorial that takes this a step further, like having a different master mix Vs. a headphones monitor mix?

1:55 You send your audio through a bus to and aux track for sub mixes

Outstanding!

Here’s a question…When you send a track to a bus, does it send the audio along with any effects you currently have on the original track? Or does it send the audio before any effects?
@pingpong7286 Жыл бұрын
So if an individual bus has it's own effect the other channel strips don't, it will apply to that channel strip only, but if it's combined with other channel strips via an aux (single bus), it won't appl to the other channel strips. Let's say only my drums has a reverb, only the drums will have a reverb effect fespote of it being merged with different channel strips in a bus/aux.

Most interesting how the "sends" volume dial changes color and position with fader sendings! Very important to notice!🤔
