His season at 28 years old will always be memorable for me as a Madrid fan, that jersey will and always be special for me. I remember I was screaming so loud at 3:30 AM (typical asian watching football) when Ramos scored that header which ultimately led to the events of the La Decima. I accidentally woke my mother up because of that. I remember I became a Madrid fan when I was 11 because of Kaka. I was 14 back then when they won the La Decima and now 24, time flies so so fast. I will never forget the feeling of seeing my favorite team lift the Champions League for the first time in 12 years... I also remembered the mixed feelings I had during that season because it was the first season without Jose Mourinho, since this was Carlo Ancelotti's first tenure at Madrid. I'm sorry if I got too nostalgic lol!

I was sleepless but worth it as I told all my teammates about the match!! good times indeed. But it still sucks that Kaka's career got ruined by injuries, right? If he was never injured I would've been a Kaka fan for life... not gonna lie. As he was the first player that I knew from Real Madrid. Ronaldo is the only player in the history who trips a lot in the game, he has been tripping since he joined professional football. but when he trips now, suddenly all calls him old. he ain't old. he is smart and experienced. see his final with al-hilal 4 months ago, he gave his evrything won with 2 goals. many of the games he is relaxing in the field enjoying smiling and he is very happy. he is getting more focused and he is skilled than 80% of the young players in Europe leagues.

the reason ronaldo trips so much while dribbling is like 99% due to his height. most attackers at his height, like haaland, don’t dribble like ronaldo and are usually poachers. i’m even surprised ronaldo can still dribble like this at 6’2, and more surprising at the age of 38. this is also why messi is insane at dribbling, of course talent is apart of it, but his short height amplifies it to the max. no comparison here, just observation on both players.

Part of the reason he is dribbling quite a lot in tight areas lately is that his speed has gone down. With his younger speed, it was honestly harder to keep the ball than flying with it all over the pitch. Imagine, a scaled down Ronaldo makes a good dribbler. What would have happened if he chose to deibble more in his prime(2014-2018)
