For anyone confused about the chanting within the Trailer, It's "Boots" by Ruyard Kipling, in which the poem is written in the same cadence of a marching infantry solider traveling across an unknown land and slowly going mad with repetitive thoughts. Some of the lines include: "Seven-six-eleven-five-nine-an'-twenty mile to-day-Four-eleven-seventeen-thirty-two the day before -- (Boots-boots-boots-boots-movin' up and down again!) There's no discharge in the war! Don't-don't-don't-don't-look at what's in front of you. @@JohnRochaSays Its actually a poen by Rudyard Kipling about 1903.. Boots" imagines the repetitive thoughts of a British Army infantryman marching by forced marches in South Africa during the Second Boer War (which had ended in 1902). It has been said that if the first four words in each line are read at the rate of two words to the second, that gives the time to which the British foot soldier was accustomed to march. US Army started using it in their SERE Training but its originally talking about the insanity of a relentless march of foot soldiers.

Original Jim is a guy at start of the trailer too, with plow. Which mean, he build that colony 28 years ago. Btw. There was leaked photo from stage with wound on shoulder. But i still hope, that isnt zombie. Just eating dissorder. 😀 looks like Christian Bale from Machinist 😀 That will explain, why he was annouced later after preproduction. Maybe he will be part of the prolog, how infection started again and connection with cult... who knows. And this will sound nsane . but those kids at first glance in the trailer at the beginning have no reason to be there. But their age + 28 years is roughly the age of the people in the colony. So if he saved them and created a colony, the cult (namely the continuation of the second part) would probably worship him as a zombie with that mask. He would have a big role basically 😀

It's not a zombie outbreak. Rage was manufactured in a lab, and it's a virus! After infection people are driven to infect others, but they will quickly die off. Rage doesn't do anything about thirst, hunger, or anything else fatal to humans.

I also just thought, if it is 28 years after the outbreak, the main characters all must have been children when it began so you are dealing with what now could be a generation of people who are grew up only knowing life after the outbreak. That could lead to cults and religious sects that’s developed and are a part of what some consider to be a new society/reality because it’s all they’ve ever known, there is little to no “before time” in relation to the outbreak
