284 - What kind of sugar does yeast like the most?
Science experiments are so much fun. Especially when you can see obvious results. In this anaerobic cellular respiration experiment we exposed yeast to three different kinds of sugar to see which one produced the most carbon dioxide.

Sure, I used one teaspoon of yeast, and one teaspoon of sugar (or other sweetener) and 2 teaspoons of water (warm water works best). I hope this helps. :)
