28mm Ancient Macedonian Army count

More than a few figures to finish to complete this force, but getting there. I discuss plans to enable this army to "morph" into a Successor force.

I use broom bristles for all my pikes ,spears and javalins ,I use the thin ones for javelins ,the thicker ones for the others , just cut to size ,shape the point by using a pair of pliers and with clippers . Have the advantage of NOT sticking your hands ,and bend so less lightly to break off . If you select brown bristles ,do not need painting ,except the point .

If it helps, i glue my pikes to the base, usually before i put the sand and glue mix on the base. Gives a good solid locating point as well as being glued to the hand.

Very impressive. I solder metal figures together, once you get the hang of it it's quick and the bond is stronger than the figure itself. Use 150 degree or lower solder and you can't damage the figure.
