It's holiday time and we are staying in our second destination this summer; a lovely house in the woods. I am still fascinated by the landscapes of our first stay and try to capture them in some watercolor sketches. But I am more satisfied with painting my children during the vacation.

I feel as though your fascination with painting trees, like you referenced in your last video, is very demonstrated here. You gave so much attention to the trees and I really enjoy seeing how your style shows in the way you're depicting the shadows of the tree clusters. Wow. You inspire me so much. Painting is so calming to do AND to watch! Since I was a young girl I always thought I'd be with a man like you and we would paint together and live happily ever after. He never showed up and I still paint alone. I know men like you are a rare breed. Just like women like me. I'm so glad I didn't settle and am still single by choice because when I see and listen to you, I know he still exists somewhere, in some lifetime! Thank you for the inspiring videos.
