Loved this and Happy 29th Birthday! My birthday is coming up next month, 28 this year, and I've been starting to reflect on some of the things you shared in this video. It's this weird place of feeling like I should be an adult with 30 getting ever closer but still feeling like a child who's just trying to figure it all out. I think I'm coming to some of the conclusions you shared, like being a life long learner, having fun, ageing is options, and don't be afraid of the failures. Odd question for you - I know this is an older video now, but I decided this comment would fit this video best. I was wondering how you handle bullies. How do you handle bullies in adult life? People trying to seem powerful by putting you down, I mean. I know you said you leaned more on your masculine, maybe more competitive side. I am 27, and I have been dating someone from a wealthy family for 3 years. When I hang out with them, his sister in law constantly tries to talk over me and isolate/impress my boyfriend. She does it well and mirrors often, laughs at anything he says, and brags about herself semi subtly. When my boyfriend isn't there, she does it to her sister in law's husband and has been scolded for it. They all make over 100k per year and have PhDs, and the culture is to compete constantly to sound smarter according to my bf. They all have IQs in the 130s. When I talk, they don't even respond. Idk how I acquired what feels like a bully AND an inferiority complex at this point in my life, but I feel like you would probably have more confidence and assertiveness than I do here. To put it shortly, how do you handle bullies or people who try to disempower you?

I recently found your channel and I love how authentic and true to yourself you are. Point 7. Not only concerns aging. How much I have listened to such texts about marriages: "After the wedding you will have zero freedom, the fun and self-realization will end, you will stuck at home!" bullshit. I never traveled so much in my life and self-realizating like in a marriage. It all depends on our attitude towards life, the changes taking place in it and the decision we make. If we consider that if we turn over 30 / gat marriage / having a child, as the end of the world, it will be so. Love from Poland :)

hard to get rid of toxic people when they are 1. yourself 2. your mom. Turning 29 in may, and I don,t want to. Not looking forward to it at all. I've been trying to get things done for 10 years, and am waiting for an interview for a job abroad. I'm not sure I'll get it. If I don't I don't know what I'll do. everything I've done in the past 10 years was for that. If it fails, I'll be nothing. Very easy to give tips like that, when your mind isn't against you. Dahlia Cross if you don't get that one job they're will be other opportunities, 100% sure with that. We can be cruel to ourselves but we are also not helpless slaves towards our minds. You do have the chance and the power to control your thoughts and feelings. Meditating helps a lot with that. Please don't give up on yourself :) I bet you're wonderful already.

Dont give up. I think we all have options in life and sometimes we just arent meant to take a certain road. I went through hell being around toxic people and becoming toxic myself. I dont know how I did it but I finally sat down one day and deleted all the crap from facebook and my phone, I thought about things I enjoy doing and something that will earn me money which I enjoy doing. Its a far cry from what I originally wanted but its close enough and finally I can say im ok, Im free from certain horrid family members and so called friends. Ive moved away out of the country and settled eleswhere, made one or two new friends, started my own little business and working hours when I want, singing in a band which was one of my dreams. Im much more relaxed. Stress kills. Im older but I dont care, Im alive, so Im living and I go to parties and I have fun. Im trying to write a book, doing yoga, trying my hand at photography everything I was told not to do by my mum, who wanted me to be a Nurse or Doctor. She wasnt interested in what I actually wanted to do and become. Dont give up. X
