Last year, I visited Prague. And one of the places I had to visit was the Dinosauria Museum Prague, and it was incredible. Not only did it house many fossils in its private collection, some you'll never get to see in a paper, it also had a few statues from Blue Rhino.
If there's one thing Blue Rhino is famous for, it's its construction of an incredibly flesh Sue T Rex. I never got to see that one, but I am certainly delighted to see one in the museum! Say hello to Karl!

Glad I could at least help you experience Fleshy, even if it was just through video. That said, nothing can compare to seeing these statues in person! Videos and pictures just don’t do them justice. And maybe if I get to work now, I’ll have 12 videos done by the holiday season!😅

Thank you indeed! When I tried looking for this guy on KZbin, I was surprised there weren't many good ones. I only wish I had thought to bring a T Rex model along like you did, and somehow put them in the same shot. It's obvious that the right model for this would have been the Rebor Kiss! I look forward to get to see your Christmas special this year, your other commitments permitting of course! 😁

They are working on an over 80foot long Apatosaurus. It's finished but not yet painted. Ps: I like the Sue pose more. It's a bit over dynamic here. I think it was intended to be different to classic poses. But it looks a bit like an elephant does a split^^. I can't belief - but maybe they could do :) Now they built a 3rd pose. T.rex vs Triceratops fight.

Good God! I wonder which institution or organization is going to get that Apatosaurus! And that T rex vs Triceratops diorama. You sure are up-to-date with all titans! 😁👍👍

Great video and review! You did an amazing job in recording and capturing the detail, and as always, I love your commentary. I recently saw and recorded the Blue Rhino Sue at a travelling exhibit to Victoria, BC. I completely agree with you, I didn't grasp the sheer mass and size of T-Rex until I saw it in the flesh in person... it was bigger than I imagined! Hopefully I can put a video together on the Sue reconstruction soon. Thanks for an awesome video.

Thank you for your kind words, Trevor! I would love to see you put up a video of the Sue. Really, standing in front of it, you realise just how awesome these animals really were. By the way, have you acquired and painted any new models recently?

@@DinosDragons Thanks for asking! I recently purchased a Mesozoic Planet Velociraptor from Marco Makes! I'm hoping to paint it up and put a video together soon. I've also been eyeing the Uncle Beasley Triceratops from David Krentz, but I'm afraid to paint it haha! Looking forward to your next video. This is one of my favorite channels!

A few years ago I got too see the statue of Sue. It was massive to say the least. Just aw inspiring, the whole thing was built so well, so life like. One of the few times I felt small as a human. I say that all museums should have life sized statues/replicas of dinosaurs/prehistoric animals. Like imagine a life sized Dilpo or Brachi (if a museum could house one), or a Spino or giga.

It would certainly go a long way toward making an impression on the public that these were flesh and blood animals, and that their life dimensions were too awesome to fully comprehend with even impressive skeletal mounts!

I do like the model there’s also another one and it’s fighting a triceratops. I’d like it has a saliva detail and I do like it’s opening mouth motion which is pretty cool

it is near perfect. The only thing it lack is facial wounds, T rex communicate with eachotcher by biting other's face. They most likely have damaged faces.

Depends on where you are leaving from my friend! 😀 The most expensive item is the plane ticket! 😥 Or did you mean entry fee? If so, it's 399 CZK on weekdays, and 499 CZK on weekends and public holidays.
