Hi, Double Bassist here! What these dudes are doing on their CELLOS still blows my mind, and I’ve seen this easily 100 times. They are obviously classically trained, but want to do contemporary music. They do a killer version of MJ’s SMOOTH CRIMINAL, too. Their talent and musicianship is off the charts. I believe they are friends from Croatia, but don’t quote me on that. Just phenomenal. P.s. CELLO is pronounced ‘CHELLO’, and yes, they can do that live.

Yep, it's real. I know a cellist who can pull sounds out of it that you'd swear came from a marimba one minute & a human voice the next (I say as a fellow vocalist). And he improvs it with a loop pedal. Amazing instrument, and the things a good player can do with one will blow your mind EVERY time. BTW, those flying strings are real, too. Saw the two Cellos at Wembly stadium UK in June 2022. They were just as they are in this video. They were accompanied by a drummer. Everyone stood rocking to their music. All ages were there . My husband is 82 and I am 73. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.

The anxiety may be because cellos are often used to build tension in movie & TV soundtracks, maybe in certain intervals between rapid notes, not sure of the technicalities, but I could recognise something similar here in the higher part.

Fun trivia; in the Italian language, che is pronounced as 'k', as in kite, and ce is pronounced as 'ch', as in chill. So cello is pronounced chello. Also what amuses Italians is how we add 's' to words for plural, which they don't (pizzas for example, when the plural is pizze) Two Cellos in Italian is due celli. Anyways, two awesome cellists playing two obviously robust cellos (celli!) 😂

I had a famous Australian martial artist come to my house once. Frank Barca. He saw my double bass in the living room on its stand and asked who's cello that was. I said "Frank, you speak Italian. I know. I have heard you speak it. What does "cello" mean?" He replied "It means 'small'" "Well does that look very fucking 'cello' to you mate? That's a double bass." Tough words from a man who he could have ripped the head of off. I got a laugh and a hug.

Luka Sulic is born in Slovenia but I believe he also lives in Croatia. Sir Elton John saw their youtube video where they covered Michael Jackson song (if i remember well it was Smooth Criminal) and he invited them on a tour with him. The rest is history. But to be fair behind all of this are years of classical training, education, devotion and no giving up. Their love for the music is evident in every note played! Just went to their concert in Philly last Friday night! They are spot on live and unbelievably amazing. They are best friends from Croatia (and their drummer is also from Croatia) and even the opening act is good (the Matt Simons band). This is their last tour, so go if you can (and the tickets aren't outrageous and worth the price).

Absolutely love these guys! You should definitely listen to their version of "smooth criminal", "highway to hell" and for something a little lighter, "wake me up". I would also love to see these guys when they come to the states, but all their concerts are scheduled to be on the east coast and I live on the west. 😒

Hysterical! “This is giving me anxiety.” 🤣👍‼️‼️ I literally laughed out loud when you said this. It was only because it was so intense that I I didn’t realize how anxious I was until you said it🙌🥳

instrumental and classic music can give you chills, lighten you up, to keep it short: It influences your soul so much if you are open for it. Also I love how the children are happy when they play it and the adults are like "what devil music is this?" which always happens when a new music genre appears between the already established ones.

Two Cello's are LEGEND!! Yes they are making that sound and shredding those bows. And there literally is nothing from classical to hard rock they have not perfected! Super excited to see them live in concert in just 2 days!!! If Thunderstruck is to much check out 2 Cello's classical! Oh and it Cello's like Fellows
