I haven't eaten Taco Bell since the early 90s. Somewhere along the way, their food became more preservative enhanced, which plays havoc on one's digestive tract(especially mine! LOL). Just passing by a Taco Bell gives me a queasy stomach...

It depends on your taste and how hot you can take things and the mild Taco Bell sauce is not too bad but I would stay away from the Diablo sauce and I used to work at Taco Bell a long time ago and back then we do not have breakfast on the menu

It just shows the power of marketing. In stead of being impressed was a good deal the $5 crave box is, you should be outraged over how much they overcharge on single items. Obviously they are making money on $5 boxes so they are just gouging on the individual items.

I got the $5.00 Crave Box yesterday. Yes it is a great deal. However calling the 5 layer beefy burrito is crazy. Probably 1 oz of taco meat. Mostly Refried Beans. Regular Tacos should always have tomatoes. A supreme should be sour cream and maybe black olives added. I'll get it again when dollars are short and time is limited to not making something at home. Thanks for this PSA (public service announcement) !!! Dan you need a math refresher course. $1.79 for a taco and $3.89 for the Double Decker is $2.10 for the tortilla and beans. I have heard in the UK on the top floor of the double decker busses they have math teachers teaching how to add/subtract on the fly. No calculator. No paper. No pencil.

I got the five dollar box my accident because I wanted the nacho fries deluxe box. I noticed they gave me everything but the chicken chalupa and the fries( it was cinnamon twists instead). So I took the 5.00 box and then ordered went in an ordered a small nacho fries and it was still cheaper. I mean I know I missed out on the chicken filling in the chalupa but still cheap. Those five layer burritos are bomb and they are usually bigger than the ones you got. I'm sure that varies.

Taco Burger! Just dump a big mac in there and call it a day (not really). The deal is great; I do customize it a bit or get another deal because I could care less about those cinnamon sticks. I never had any fast food until I was a teenager and paying for it myself. Due to medical issues I had to give it up. I went haywire for awhile this year and was eating it again and I nearly had to go to the hospital, so please don't go crazy. LOL But as far as Taco Bell - I remember getting 3 soft or hard tacos supremes and a drink for $5 plus tax! Now that is $10 I think. hehe Yeah, I think 3 Dos Locos Tacos and a drink (in store) is $10.99. At home it is $13.

It's $8.07 for each of the double-decker tacos here in the NorCal/SF Bay area. $2 more than a regular taco? I've got tortillas and refried beans at home. I'll modify their tacos into double-deckers at home and even throw crumbled bacon and cheese into the beans.

Taco Bell's Double Deckers got me through the mid to late 90's. Then by the time I made enough to get unlimited Double Deckers at will, they discontinued it.. literally after I was fully educated and making good money 😐😠🍻

Before the double decker taco was created, Taco Bell tasked their food scientist with creating a solution to the crunchy taco's shell exploding and disintegrating mid-consumption.
