Yes they will but you’ll probably need a small #2 washer on them to keep them from pulling through the shock eye. I would probably recommend the Injora internal shocks now if looking to go with an internal spring shock. They weren’t available when I was using these old man emu. amzn.to/3BNh7hd

Old Man Emu = yellow painted rc4wd Superlift... I run the 100mm versions on my comp rig, the lightest rate springs with enough oil to ensure lubrication, not dampening... I have many sets of 80, 90, and 100mm Superlift and they are great.... DEPENDING on how you want to run your rig, tuning them can be more difficult.... I love the light switching!! I need to do that for my rigs too

Seamus RBNW yeah the light switch is basically something I buy when I buy a truck now lol. It’s just a given! I’m loving the old man emu shocks on my C10! I run them with no springs and it just does so well that I can’t change anything lol. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite shocks and I really haven’t even messed with tuning on them or anything. I put them on and they were ok. I pulled the springs and slapped them back on. Loved it so I’m still running them that way!

Jeep broke I’m really liking them on this c10. They just seem to fit it well. I feel like the Hot Racing would probably do well on it also but haven’t tried them. I am running them on my Yota. Maybe I’ll do a swap one day and see how both trucks do with the opposite set of shocks!

I have the carisma shocks and combined them with the stock shocks. The articulation you get it’s around 50-60mm

I’ve seen some people use the stock top and bottoms with the carisma body but I just hate to take a good aluminum shock cap and replace it with the plastic ones. Yes that’s correct plug into aux the switch is the channel 3 switch on the stock transmitter.... no extra switch just the plug and play.👍🏼

I have a few of that white controller on different rigs works really well I actually cut the cover off of it covered in conformal coating to waterproof it I did put a piece of heat shrink over it

Can I get a Y split servo connection to hook up the headlights and fog lights in order to turn them on and off from the transmitter?

I just use the stock screw and moved to a location it could screw into the esc tray or something like that.

@@Spazin0ut almost all 1.0 wheels and tires will work together. There are several new tires out since that vid but I still love the Patagonia’s and the new (larger diameter) tsl boggers! Both are great mid size tires. The Patagonia’s aren’t great in loose stuff but are awesome on the rocks.

No I used holes that were already there. Usually pull a screw from the esc tray or something and mount there.

Does this motor make it go faster? What would you recommend to make it go faster but still pretty easy to install

Which motor? Speed has a lot to do with gearing as well. You could go brushless and gain some speed. Really you want more torque for crawling vs speed. I have a brushless setup in my 4ws rig and it’s great. I don’t have it set up for speed though. I just liked the smoothness of the throttle and the power it has when needed.

@@BurgerurgerFPV different gearing for these things are pretty much impossible to come by. I’d say the easiest brushless (that would still crawl) would be the Holmes revolver motor with castle micro sidewinder esc. That’s what I’m running in my 4ws rig and it’s awesome! You just need the motor mount from shapeways.com that says it fits the revolver. Not sure but the revolver may be hard to come by and I know the esc is a bit hard to find atm. People are jacking the price of them up on eBay. I gave like $55 for my esc and $20-30 for the motor I believe. Everything is sort of hard to get at the moment though. I usually buy from eBay or amazon and look for the fast and free shipping on eBay lol

Sam Carmel I would probably start with wheels and tires. Stock tires are all pretty horrible. Add some wheel weights,steering links & servo next. Then you’re pretty well set. Maybe some shocks and that’s about all it really needs.

Sam Carmel fullsendrc.com has some that say they are for the rc4wd stamped steel beadlock. That’s the ones I run in all of mine. They work great and he ships fast. Great to deal with as well

Great tips! I bought the same switch for the lights but the problem I’m having is that the car won’t turn on if I leave the switch plugged in. It’s plugged into the lights and into the Aux port on the receiver. But if I turn it on, nothing happens until I unplug the switch. Any ideas? The battery is fully charged.

@@2fmrc Well I got a replacement unit and the car now turns on, but it takes almost a full minute to do so! I guess it's progress! I think this will do fine for me, and if it starts to bug me, I can always unplug it before I'm about to turn it on if I don't feel like waiting.

I plugged my lights into the AUX but if I switch it one the lights don’t come on (my truck is bone stock) and now I tried plugging my lights into the original port and they won’t work

Do you have the switch I mentioned? You have to have it for the aux switch to turn them off and on. Did you plug the lights back in the correct direction when moving them back? Try flipping the connector over. Shouldn’t hurt anything but they won’t work if plugged in the wrong direction. Sorry if you already tried that. Just a couple ideas.
