It was good that he saved the option for sure, but it's a super common airdodge from Cloud that should definitely be punished 90% of the time. I was actually really surprised elegant didn't just up smash so he didn't have to guess, but I imagine he wanted more damage off a throw combo. For me the highlight was legit Spargo's positioning in general the entire set. The kid is ridiculous.

Sparg0 is really good and this is a matchup nightmare for Elegant... but I never realized how inconsistent Luigi is. That grab at 1:23 had no business missing, nor should the up B 2nd stock. Very annoying. Elegant should have another character. GG to Sparg0 tho, always at his best.

His grab combos are fine considering what they can do. After the opponent has 20%, Luigi's safest way to hit the opponent is with u-air because in case of sdi. What Luigi really needs is recovery buffs. Make his zair grab ledges like everyone else with a zair and reduce the endlag of side-b. In addition, let Luigi keep at least some momentum when he uses side-b.

@@l00kaTuRdAdm8 i wouldn't go that far Elegant has been a top player since smash 4 amd is even top 32 pgr right niw he knows how to play this game more than we do and it's not like he has no experience with this matchup (literally defeated leo's cloud in sm4sh and kola's ultimate cloud in frostbite and played sparg0 before) you may think he played neutral awfully but that is most likely just because he couldn't find openings easily, cloud's sword is huge and is a disjoint so he can't aproach carelessly or else he'll take an easy 40%, his win condition is luigi's 0 to death and edge-guarding / ledge-trapping and he was doing good with it except that sparg0's SDI helped way too much and sparg0 is a master at cloud's recovery wich is why the game may have appeared janky and that's mainly because luigi can't approach carelessly for the reasons listed above
