Hi, all. This video was filmed two weeks ago, and the upload schedule was finalized even before we started the filming process. We woke up this morning and were shocked to see the news stories on the horrifying crowd surge in Itaewon last night. The loss of so many lives is just beyond devastating. We’re honestly still trying to process it all. We want to thank those of you who messaged/DM’d us to check if we were ok. We weren’t in the area last night and are fine. Thankfully we were able to get in contact with our friends who were in the area last night, who are also ok. That being said, there are still people who are unable to get in contact with their friends and loved ones. If you’re in Korea or abroad and are trying to find someone, Seoul has set up some missing persons emergency lines: 02-2199-8660 02-2199-8664~8678 02-2199-5165~5168 120 Dasan call centre (multilingual on weekdays) Call 1330 with the name, age, nationality, and Korean phone number of the missing individual if you have a foreigner friend who went to Itaewon. on the night of Oct. 29th. This is for if your friend is still missing. Also if you are outside of Korea it is +82-2-1330. This number is for foreigners. Hearts across the country are very heavy today. Stay safe, everyone.

Hey you guys, I am so sorry to hear about what happened in Korea, I hope your loved ones and friends are okay. Take care, it must be incredibly shocking and hard to process right now. I felt the same way hearing what happened in Uvalde in my country in May of 2022. This kind of stuff is just horrible. Please take however much time you need to heal and I wish you good health and especially good health for your Korean loved ones.

I've walked those alley streets many times in Itaewon. I'm heartbroken over this. All those young lives who were just out for a good time with friends celebrating Halloween until the chaos began. I remember there was a stampede at a Travis Scott concert in Texas a while ago that killed some people. Things like this should NEVER happen, but I have accept that tragedies like this are a part of life. Yet it still hurts. Rest in peace to those who passed.
