👍👍👍 have you tried different meters I’ve never had luck with that particular type of meter... I bought two and they’re both in the garbage can..It always gave me a very low reading when checking on high-power

I'm trying to understand, does just transmitting allow a good power output reading? how does the power meter adjust for a FM signal if it's not being modulated with audio? I understand matching the antenna for a 1:1 ratio 50 ohms at the specific frequency 433Mhz but how does the power meter know if the signal is FM or CW in to a dummy load big enough to sink the TX power.

When did you calibrate the meter as I did the same test with a new meter and I got 22watt on high and 11 watts on low

no. I will ask my friend to borrow his meter and when the dummy load comes ill do another test

Should have been into a dummy load and not an aerial, even though hummmmm! A bit short in power even though. 20watt radio maybe? Be interesting to see what it does into a dummy load with no reflected power.

Ibe just got my self a new dummy load just waiting for a connector to arrive. ive tested the dummy load on a analyzer and across all bands it was 1.0 on the swr. hope to test it with this radio in the next video
